well decided to start a new one..cuz well the other one kinda got lost lol so here is one

Intercession

Outside the Sistine Chapel
a man gazes his eyes towards heaven
Michaelangelo's painting broadens the sky
with the images of paradise.
And he wonders can he go there?

The people file in the old town church
one by one they piously bow their heads in humbleness
while snickering at the single mom,
whose sneaking into the back row

An Amazon rainforest
A little bridge in brooklyn
A grand ol' pew
or the little crib
all are glimpses of heaven

Doesn't matter where you are
doesn't matter what your doin
cast your eyes towards the heavens
and remember that
his eyes are watching you

rough draft to be sure but well came off the top of my head lol

Folklore
Happenchance
the hand of fate
you begin to wonder
do we have a destiny?

Guided by a mysterious hand
leave it to chance
roll the dice
spin the wheel
is anything in our control?

Yet he's there
He shows us the way
do you take the narrow path
or follow the other fishes
letting the river carry you?

Become like the salmon
swim upstream
feel the pressure
and i promise you won't be dissapointed
for all things point to Him.

Looking into the darkness
of the moon's after glow
seeing the stars dim
One by one fading into the dawn

I have to wonder
do they ever feel the sadness
of being outshined
of living like your all alone

Do they ever wonder why God had to leave?
Why he couldn't stay a little longer
just to see us through
WHy life has to be so hard
when all you wanna do is sit down and cry

When you see the last star go out
waiting for the night to come
Do you ever see them question
the wisdom of the Father?
Do they ever feel the pain of loneliness inside?

Even when the darkness closing around them
they still stand out to shine
Even when their fading
in the dawn's impending fire
They still thank God for the moments they have to shine

So why can't you and I
be so much the same?
Shining when we can
never complain
For the time we have is precious
a gift from above
Shine before the predawn
become a star in the darkness.

Faint of heart
weary step
wondering how the next runs gonna be
wondering if that finish line is soon

Rocky road
twist and turns
hoping that your there tonight
Hoping you can hear the cries

Finish the race
never give up
Set the pace
and keep on traveling

walkin in the footsteps
of the biggest man alive
a bloodstained trail
grace and redemtion

He is there
walking beside you
taking on the nails
so you can keep running on
Never stop

Safe in your car
the tunes blaring loud
listenin to the bass
bouncing you up and down

Drown out your troubles
hide behind that fake smile
you may fool the world
but your not fooling him

He knows the pain you feel
He sees the tears you cry
so

Trust in the One
who's carrying you
even when you can't see the end

Deep neck in trouble
seeing no way out but down
struggling against the mud
against the world who tears you

But have faith
look up
behold the son of man
Feel the joy that he's offering
