Midori Days

Hey everyone. Man I have not been on here in like forever. I miss it too. I feel... foreign. ;-; Curse you school for taking up my time! ><

Anyway... I don't know if anyone else has talked about this show yet or not, but I got it thinking it would be cute. I read lots of synopsises. researched it. Checked ratings. (I guess I didn't do a very good job in the end though...)

Anyway, I'm just going to warn everyone else. Don't buy it. I did. And my friend jess and I were watching it and... well.... Ok Its got great animation, cute story line, cute characters, and overall is pretty good. But there were major uhm... girl chest shots. It was pretty bad too.

The one in the first episode was only like... two seconds long so we didn't think that much of it, but then in the second episode there was a pretty big one, and then in the third one... it was just wrong. One of the characters was just walking around without clothes for about half the episode. It was pretty horrible.

Jess looked at me like "What in the world...." And I must agree. Sorry if I ended up repeating someone else or anything. Just wanted to say something about it.

I think the only good thing in the end is that I got a free t-shirt from it.

Well I gotta go. Full Metal Alchemist is about to come on. ^-^ Yay. Ok bye now!

Thanks for the heads up. It looked really cute. Atleast now I know to steer clear.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I agree aule. If you can ignore it its a very cute show. I'm debating whether or not to continue it or not. :is contemplating:

The only problem I have to worry about is if I do get the rest, and my little (10-year-old) sister finds them, she's going to want to watch them. And if she wants to watch them and I tell her no she's going to make a big deal. A VERY big deal. And... yah... then I have to explain.... :shakes head: she doesn't listen to me as it is. I guess the worst that could happen is she would wait till I left home one day and steal it and watch it in her room. ..... She has done that before.....

:is at a major dilemma: -_- *sigh*.....

You definately don't want this in her hands. Nudity but also a lot of language throughout it. I would not recommend it.

Hmm, I was wanting to see this, but now I'm not sure. Maybe I'll rent the first disc and see what I think.

it was interesting. And the language was a good point too.

I think I'm going to sell the first one on Ebay. I got the first disc+box....

*sigh* I do admit I wanted to see the rest of the series to see what happens. But I don't know if I want to risk it with my sister.

Hey if any of you guys want to buy mine feel free to contact me. Just be warned of the content.... -_-;

Really? Thats good. I'm thinking about getting the rest of it too. But the second disc doesn't come out here till Tuesday (the store has it, they just wont let ya buy it till next tuesday).

I was worried it was gonna be one of those shows that just got worse and worse, but I think i'll get it. I seem to have convinced my sister to stay out of my room and all for a while so it should be ok. (We've had many ... uh.. conversations....)

Thanks for the tips. Aviento.
