Halo Movie: I've one (not recorded gameplay)

Ok, I'd like to start out and say to not move this. Just leave it please! This is a big deal, ok? And this does not belong in the games forum. If anywhere, it would belong in a movie forum or something. So, just to make that clear, because I had started another thread (you can delete the old one) and it got moved, and then it appeared as an empty thread and it just got screwed up.

Anyway, I've made a halo movie (or episode), based on the first chapter of Halo: First Strike the game novel. I made it with 3ds max and using some flash, very little. I know what you're thinking, morons running around in costumes or recorded gameplay-, NO! This is a 3d CGI movie. Yes! To good to be true? NO! I want everyone to see this and give your thoughts and opinions. Right now I'm working with some people on the bungie website and getting a group together to make more of these. So far, all the video is done for this one (2min long), but I need the following for now and for the future:

1. 3d modelers
2. 3d and 2d animators
3. Sound editors
4. Video editors
5. Texturers
6. Voice actors
7. Website monitors or designers

uh... no offence or anything, I think the movie's a kewl idea and all, but...

1. when a mod moves a thread, nothing irks them more to find that the person who made it made another one in the same forum it was moved from...

2. I really don't think that you'll be able to find sufficient help for that project here in CAA... just not any specialists in the areas you mentioned, or at least I haven't seen anyone doing it here yet...

Personally, I'd like to see the movie, but I also agree with frwl. It's a little weird to go to a Christian Anime forum that is mostly used by teenagers or young adults and ask for audio/video specialists. I understand your frustration with being moved, but you really do have to put your thread in the correct category, even if it means getting less publicity.

In addition, given that this is the first time I've ever seen you on this forum I'm not inclined to offer my time and talents to someone that I'm not even acquainted with.

Perhaps in time, when people have gotten to know you a little more, you'll get a better response than you are getting now. Then we'll know that you are part of this community and not just coming here because you want something.
