I've got an annoying little chihuahua. Lol, it's actually my mom's, I just hafta deal with it. She's always taking my stuff. Grrrr.

Our last dog was a full breed Malamute.Nice firendly dog and all but they're not exactly good watchdog material as they'd as sooner slobber an intruder
with kisses as bite them! :jump:

Speaking of slobbering my maternal grandparents once owned a St.Bernard.
St.Bernard's aren't only big, they're also very slobbery!

Nice juxtaposition.

I have no dogs, nor do I plan on owning any. Too high maintenance. I don't plan on owning any imaginary dogs either, so all you Shigure Sohma fans can make a sigh of relief. One thing I just cannot do is get animals to like me... or live for more than two years. Well, there was this cat I had once, but I sent her back after two days. I don't know her status(dead/alive) today.

Ingemar, Killer of Cats (Within Two Years). That'd be a nice user title if it would fit. I think TomKyou would get a real charge out of that one too.

Dogs are way too high maintenance, though, I agree. We had a dog and I loved him to death, but then he passed on and now I'm happy with our cats. And my little sister. Although she scratches me sometimes.

Mutts are the absolute best kind of dogs. I don't think I've ever had a purebred dog. (Which may be due to where I live, but whatever.) My two dogs are a Chow/German Shepherd mix(Teddy), and a Chow/German Shepherd/Husky/Spitz mix(Blackie, who is my baby).

They're both insane, but good dogs. Mutts tend to not have the breed-related problems purebreds do.

I have two cats and a rabbit. The rabbit's name is Hershy and he's a brown rabbit of some indeterminate breed (most likely a mix). The cats are Salem (black male) and Angel (tortoise-shell female, no relation) that are also probably mutts. Angel is pretty much my cat (no surprises there) and she drives me absolutely insane. She likes to sit on whatever I'm doing, as well as clean, ironed clothing I am about to put on, and also on me, but only when I'm lying down. She has a slight obsession with my yellow mechanical pencil. I once came home to find she had somehow produced an identical pencil I didn't even know existed because I took mine to school.
Think happy thoughts.

Interesting. My brother has a leopard geko named Hershy. He named it that because his best friend's skink is named Snickers.

O_O You murderer! ;)

We have three cats and one weimarana (german dog -I think they used to appear every so often on seasame street. Think of a dalmation only spotless and a sandy grey-brown colour.
We've had a pig, we have three pet chooks, have had fish, tadpoles, frogs (yay they survived until adulthood! :jump: ), guinea pigs, rabbits, a duck, budgies, cockatiels, quails.... oy.
I also had a caterpillar but I think I prodded it too much. Let's just say it didn't make it to the chrysalis.

My dog (Alex) is a mix of Huskie and Malamute. He's very independent and regal now that he's getting older. His bedtime he set himself is at 9:30 PM, without fail. He also feels it is his duty to rigourusly watch for any unuusal happenings by stareing out the window most of the day.
Although Alex isn't "cuddly," i think sled dogs in particular are more intelligent than most others, although not as obedient. More of a "human" than a dog. =P
He's climbed a ten foot ladder into a tree fort before, and can almost talk with his facial expressions.

An American Cocker Spaniel, she's black furred, save for one or two white spots on her chest and paws. She's such a quiet, sweet natured doggy, unless some upstart pup attempts to steal one of her toys. And she's a total cuddle bug.

She also has a smooshy face ^_^

My family and I have a 6 or 7 year old (I forget which) black labrador named Beau. He's about the friendliest animal out there, but sometimes his friendliness and his high maintenance get pretty annoying. ^^;

I have two Barn cats. By barn cats I mean cats that were born in a barn. Later someone came and got them and made them pets. These barn cats of ours are second hand, so I do not know what barn they are from.

we have one barn cat - Happy, a stray we adopted when i was little that lives in our tractor shed - Mittens, and one half-manx cat who is allowed in the house - Annie.

and i just found out last night that our old mutt dog is no longer with us :( i'd been at college, and no one had told me.

we also seem to have another pet - a bum calf that is about the same size as our border collie - named Little Debbie.
