Strange Phobias

Ailurophobia- Fear of cats.
Alektorophobia- Fear of chickens.
Allodoxaphobia- Fear of opinions.
Anglophobia- Fear of England, English culture, etc.
Anthrophobia or Anthophobia- Fear of flowers.
Arachibutyrophobia- Fear of peanut butter sticking to the roof of the mouth.
Bogyphobia- Fear of bogies or the bogeyman.
Bromidrosiphobia or Bromidrophobia- Fear of body smells.
Cathisophobia- Fear of sitting.
Catoptrophobia- Fear of mirrors.
Cholerophobia- Fear of anger or the fear of cholera.
Chorophobia- Fear of dancing.
Chrometophobia or Chrematophobia- Fear of money.
Chromophobia or Chromatophobia- Fear of colors.
Chronophobia- Fear of time.
Chronomentrophobia- Fear of clocks.
Cibophobia or Sitophobia or Sitiophobia- Fear of food.
Coulrophobia- Fear of clowns.
Porphyrophobia- Fear of the color purple.
And the oddest one of all is
Ecclesiophobia- Fear of church.

Oddly, the only person with this phobia is Impact.

Or one I happen to posess: eyepokeaphobia - the phobia of being poked, stabbed, jabbed, or otherwise sustaining damage to my eye by means of a pointed object.

I'm like the complete opposite of you there, Volt. Millipedes make me squirm, but I don't freak out. Besides, they're harmless. Centipedes--although dangerous--interest me. Although then again, probably both would freak me out if they crossed my path. Seeing them on TV or behind glass is one thing; encountering them with nothing separating the two of you is another.

This one DOES exist (I had to look it up for an old school assigment: Pizzaphobia -fear of round, flat objects. There's also the fear of ants, the fear of animals, etc.

Hmmm... Millipedaphobia? Or manyleggedinsectaphobia?
