Does anyone watch HunterXHunter and actually likes it?

I do! My favorites Kurapika and Lerio (sp?) I haven't seen to many fans of Lerio but I think he's cool.

Leorio's one of your under-rated underdogs. Kurapika hogs most of the fan spotlight at the expense of others, particularly the hero Gon.

Another question: who's everyone's favorite character in HXH? Personally, I like Killua, Gon, and Kurapika. Leorio sucks (no offense to the one who likes Leorio).

I REALLY like Hunter X Hunter. It's a great series, and I think it's one that's vastly underrated. It's a shame more people won't give it a chance. Admittedly, it's abit slow in the beginning, but it REALLY picks up. Killua is one of my favorite characters.

I have read a fair amount of the manga, if that counts. Though I liked it, I wouldn't call myself its biggest fan. I'm not sure I would state a favorite character immediately... perhaps Killua.

I agree. Most people it's too cheesy; they should give it a try though. It does go a bit slow in the beginning, but if you watch the OVA series, you'll be always beggin' for more every time you watch or read an episode. Do you know if it's possible to get an English version of its manga?

Yes. Viz has licensed the series, and it is likely the first volume may be out by this point. Chances are they'll release another volume every other month.

I liked the series a lot when I saw it, but I wouldn't put it in my top 10. The series is very creative and excellently paced, but some of the characters and situations were far too dark for me after viewing the series for some reason.

I recommend the show to people who liked Yu Yu Hakusho or Naruto, but I think that it tends to be more dark and twisted than those series. Just my opinion.
