Cafe Press does calendars. Anyone up for scouring the Post Your Pic thread? If it were funny pictures I think I would get one.

And oh yeah, now that I've commented on this umpteen times maybe I can actually say something about VOLT!!! Lookin' good, man. It's hard to get those unusual hair colors to look good but that is flippin' sweet.

Doesn't matter, I'm cutting it bald in 4 months  I guess I'll finally find out if I have a lumpy head or not.

Why Torture Yourself looking through Post your Pic thread, when you can just go through the CAA YearBook! Voltius.com @ the bottom.

Don't fret about your hair too much. It looks great, and besides...it's just in a bit of shock. You just sucked all of the color out of it. In another week or two, it should be back to close to normal.

I'd be horrified if you ended up shaving your head, Volt. Happened to a cousin of mine, after he wanted to go surfer blond.

Being a blondy works for you, I like it a lot. And may I say PLEASE do not shave your head. It kills me when guys with nice hair do that to themselves. Hair is a much better way to go.

Random question while we're on the topic of coloring hair-- I have a lot of friends who say that guys hate it when girls color their hair. Not that I really care, lol, if I want to color my hair I'm doing it no matter what guys say about it, but do you fellas agree with this?

I LOVE bleached hair! 2 years ago for a Christian Festival up here in New England, I bleached my hair.... and I LOVED IT! It was the best I've ever had my hair. I even liked it when my roots started to grow out. My mom, unfortunately, won't let me do it again. *sigh* But anyways, your hair looks really great! The colour is awesome.

Bleaching Hair makes it REALLY dry. These pics are taken before I used the conditioner, I already took a shower, so I'm not getting soaked again, instead I'll just glop on my conditioner and stick my head in the sink to wash it off that way. It can get messy if the shirt gets in the way. My last shirt has red dye on it.

Yes, actually... lol. And now I have bleach spots all over my shirt...

What if it's a color other than blond? I'm a brunette, and once or twice I got some blond highlights for a change of pace, but I would never in my natural born life go all blond, lol, I would look so terrible, it would totally clash with my skin tone. But do guys hate all hair color on girls? Because that's seriously what my friends say, but that sounds kinda stupid to me. I've always thought it would be cool to have red highlights, or at least a ruddy brown. If guys have a problem with that, I give up, ha ha. (The cool thing is that because I got my hair highlighted those few times, now the hair that had been highlighted grows just one or two shades a lighter brown, so it's like free highlights, ha ha :thumb: .)

I haven't seen too many bleache-blonde haired girls ever. I thought it was pretty unique when I did it :forehead:

that looks awesome dude. I had my hair blonde in highschool, but when it started growing out it looked horrible, so I dyed it back brown...heh. maybe you could do that instead of shaving it off.

when my hair gets to the length I want it, I'm gonna dye it burgundy. wewt.

Well, I'm a guy, and I don't hate all hair coloring for women. I do hate bad hair coloring, though. For me color is secondary; texture and style are most important. Hair coloring can damage these things if it's not done properly and I think that's what people don't like when they complain about hair coloring.

Hair coloring is like make-up: it shouldn't call attention to itself, it should just make you look better. If the first thing a person thinks when they see it is "EEK!OOK!ACK!DYE!" then there is probably something amiss, especially if you're using a natural color like brunette or blonde.

Perhaps that is why your friends say those things: if the dye is really good, people won't even notice it's dye! Only the chemical-fried disasters stand out; the good ones slip by undetected.

Yeah, I'm talking natural colors, of course. If you're going spectral then standing out is part of looking good and that changes the dynamic somewhat.

Code on, oh mighty warrior!

EDIT: I know this would be a royal pain, but you should try dyeing your eyebrows to match your hair. I think it would help the look.

Yeah, thankfully when I got my hair done I did it at a nice place, so I was pretty natural looking-- it wasn't like my friends were saying, "Guys hate YOUR hair coloring," lol, and if they had I probably would have punched them. It came up in a random conversation, and I've just wondered about it ever since.

In the matter of a few hours, Volt realizes his huge mistake of posting pics of himself in CAA. He flees for his life as he is hunted down by crazed bishie fangirls screaming, "Finally! A real life Christian bishie! He's mine!" A BIFS* ensues, much to the dismay of CAA admins/mods.

Seriously, you look GREAT. I find it hard to see why you would think otherwise. (^_^)
