What movie are you watching?

TV, Movies, Sports...you can find it all in here.

What movie are you watching or what was the movie you most recently watched?

Postby Scribs » Sat Apr 23, 2005 5:58 pm

Ok, every other forum on this site has one of these threads (with the exception of the sports forum which probably has no need of one.)

Just tell us what movie you are watching or have watched recently ect. and people may or may not make comments accordingly.

If already a similar thread here, may this one be locked and sink into the oblivion where it belongs.

I am in the middle of Gods and Generals myself. Its pretty good. Mainly because I just got back from virginia.

Um... Most of the time people watch a movie in a whole sitting, I would assume. I think that's probably why it doesn't have it's own thread.

YMMV.

darn, you are right. I should have labeled it What movie are you watching or what movie have you most recently watched?

The Whole Nine Yards, which was interesting, if morally appalling

Cellular. A bit average but the basic idea was a little interesting.

I recently watched X-Men, or at least five minutes of it before I had to go to work. But before that, I watched Veggie Tales' Duke and the Great Pie War.

I'm afraid to ask, but what Bible story were they parodying there?

What's UFC? Something to do with boxing I'm guessing by the context...

The story of Ruth and Naomi. I was kinda disappointed in it.

Well, earlier today I said to my self "Kalvin, how 'bout we put on Seven Samurai." So I did. It's a bit on the long side, though, so I'm watching it in two sittings. (Yes, it's the Akira Kurasawa classic.)

I started Arthur Millers interpertation of Ibsen's "An enemy of the People" and it seems to be pretty good so far.

I just saw Napoleon Dynamite. Good, in a random sort of way. At least I understand all the references to it now.

YEAH!! You go!! :P I wanna watch that one again SO BAD!! (I have the X-Men 1.5 DVD set)

I most recently watched (from most recent to least recent) (beside them I will give my rating for them on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, the more the better):
1. Mulan 2 ***
2. InuYasha: The Movie 2: The Castle Beyond the Looking Glass *****
3. Pocket Monsters 3: Lord of the Unown Tower (the Japanese version of Pokemon 3) ****
4. Naussica of the Valley of the Wind *****
5. Hellboy *

I think that is about right...
