Talk about anything in here.

Who are you most like?????

Postby holysoldier5000 » Sat Apr 16, 2005 12:28 pm

Who are you most like?

I thought this would be fun…and educational! ;)

Select 1 to 2 characters from a movie, anime, manga, video game, book, comic, or cartoon. Now with your selection answer the following questions:

1. What character are you most like? And why are you most like that character?

2. What character would you like to be? And why would you like to be that character?

Here are my answers:

1. Sam (LotR)
Image
An honest character who is faithful, confident, mindful, supportive, a noble servant, and a good friend.

2. Abraham Van Helsing (Van Helsing)
Image
Super cool hero who fights the forces of darkness, with awesome gadgets, and a killer out fit (Black leather with western style duster!)
Plus the cool werewolf powers... *HOWLS!!!*

That's not really a tough one for me. I've thought about it before.

I'm most like Joel from "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind". I care a lot for other people and like to be considered a nice guy, but I'm terribly shy and emberass easily.

Image

I'd want to be more like Kira from "Gundam Seed". He hates the thought of violence but still pilots the Strike Gundam again and again to protect his friends.

I bear a great deal of similarity to Kanako Urashima in Love Hina (although much toned down, all the characters in that manga and anime are heavily amplified versions of real personalities). As to who I'd like to be, if possible by this criteria, I would say a fusion of the later Keitaro and Kanako.

I really have two personalities that I change between depending on my mood and who I'm around. Sometimes I'm really quiet and observant like sasuke. My other personality is harder to match with a charcter. But let me tell you it's that exact opposite of my other personality. I make a fool of my self and tell jokes and get in trouble with the teachers. Maybe more like Naruto. Kind of.

Who do I want to be? Anyone who can go back in time for a certian reason I can't say.

I think I'm most like a mix between Tsukasa from .hack//SIGN and Son Goku from Saiyuki. When I'm upset I go play online games, and I'm hyperactive, immature, and frequently hungry.

Image
I wouldn't mind being like Ayame from Tactics. :grin: Spunky, kick-butt minzokugakku wannabe with a penchant for mystery stories and mythology. And heck, I'd like to be the girl who makes Kantarou blush. x3;

Hmm, I guess I would have to say I'm most like Akiba from Full Moon wo Sagashite. I try my best to do stuff, but a lot of times I seem to end up screwing it up. And I'm hyper, too.

I think I'd most like to be like...hmm...honestly, I'd like to be more like Christ. I mean, He IS who we're supposed to emulate...

As far as anime characters, though, I'd probably like to be Dias Flac from Star Ocean 2. Because he's arrogant, and he's actually got the skills to back it up. That'd be sweet.

I think I am most like Mitchan, Shigure's editor from Fruits Basket, because she too is stressed out all the time! Ha ha, jk, I do worry unnecessarily a lot but I m definitely not THAT bad, lol. The one that I wish I was like is Tohru because she is so sacrificial and wise and always knows just what to say.

Wow, this is tricky..oo wait, I've got it. I am probably most like Lisa Simpson, albeit I am not Buddhist and I only wish I had her grades in science and math. Still, I can definitely relate to her tree-hugging, book-reading, artsy ways, as well her borderline nerdiness.

As for who I wish I was like...I would probably say Eowyn, moreso the book version. She's a strong leader, she's determined and brave, and she knows how to wield a sword

I'd have to say I'm most like Tsubasa from KareKano. People say I'm pretty childlike. And i often get mistaken for being A LOT younger then I actually am. But i'm also like Sana from Kodocha. I can be pretty genki and strange but I also have a little depression problem.

I'd like to be like Touhru from fruit Baskets. She is just such a sweet and loving person to those around her. Or like Li Syaroan in Tsubasa who is ready to give up whats most presious to protect someone he cares about except i'm a girl. =)

Found it.

1. What character are you most like? And why are you most like that
character?

Image

At times I'm fairly intellegent, adventurous, caring and loyal like Tintin.
But unlike Tintin I have a three dimensional personality and have flaws like any person.

Image

Other times I can have a strong temper like Captain Haddock, make up my own insults, can be rather pessemistic and at other times outgoing and generally act in a strange manner. Unlike the Captain I don't get drunk or smoke. The Captain is a much more realistic character than Tintin in that he has flaws.

I'm a combination of Tintin and Captain Haddock.

2. What character would you like to be? And why would you like to be that character?

I would like to be like Tintin all the time. I want to be caring etc all the time, not just sometimes, also it would be cool to be a detective and solve mysteries like him and also like Hamije from the New Kindaichi Files (manga).

I would say that Ghost in the Shell's Togusa is kind of like me. He's solid and responsible, he is a family man (which, while I'm not yet, I would really love to be), and he strives to do his best even though he is the least modified of all the agents - he's very human. I also like that he still uses his old gun even though it's outdated.

Image

Who would I like to be like? Hmmm. Well there are a lot of good choices. But let's face it, I've wanted to be Han Solo since I was a little kid. How can you beat this guy? Just the right amount of the rogue with a good heart. Not only that, but he's an ace pilot, a great fighter, and he married the Princess. If that's not enough, he has a money starship and a wookie co-pilot. I tell ya. No wonder I always wanted to be like him!

I would have to say that I am most similar to Sorata Arisugawa from CLAMP’s X. Sorata is by no means one of the angst-filled, drop dead gorgeous pieces of fangirl fodder (that make CLAMP's works so popular). In fact, the main reason he's one of my favorite characters is that he's surprisingly human.

Not only is he human, Sorata is undeniably loyal (to both Kamui and Arashi), as well as being a perpetually optimist. He constantly strives to help those around him, while always exhibiting a light heartedness and love of life that is other wise devoid in the gloomy world of X.

As far as the character that I would aspire to be like one day? I’m not sure if there really is one, that is, except for Christ. ^_^

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

It surprised me that I have had a hard time coming up with any character I'm most like. I guess I would have to say I'm most like Vash. He has very few close friends and everyone else is against him. Yet, he would still help them if they needed it.
Our personalities are very different though.

I wanna be like a lot of characters and at the moment, I don't have a certain person picked out.

Claes from Gunslinger Girl is probably the most similar to me; she is one of the few bookish characters I have encountered in anime, and her personality is much more like mine than, say, Miss Paper from Read or Die. To name some less obscure characters, however, I am also fairly similar in temperment to Hatori from Fruits Basket, and in Naruto I am probably most similar to Shino (despite the fact that I do not particularly like him as a character).

Honestly, I can't say that there is any anime character that I would truly want to emulate. Most of the people that I tend to want to be like are normal people that I know in real life.
Let others believe in the God who brings men to trial and judges them. I shall cling to the God who resurrects the dead.

For some reason, I guess my personality resembles that of the great villain actor Christopher Walken. Eccentric, strange, and a little offbeat. It's probably the countless movies I have of him that gives me a little of Walken in me. ;)

Though I really want to be like this guy...

Image
Keitaro Urashima from Love Hina. I guess he resembles the "nice guy" attitude that I've always wanted to have. Smart in appearance and kind of a clutz on the inside, I think he would be a fun personality to try out. :)

I'd say, Sun Shang Xiang, from Dynasty Warriors. She's very tomboy-ish, and she had a fierce spirit. She loves fighting and takes orders well. She also knows when to be a lady.
