Man, this is like a bad horror movie. Everybody that has actually experienced yaoi paddles is too much of a wreck to talk about it, and all of us who haven't are left wondering what they're gibbering about.

Wow, that's the best analogy I've ever heard. From what I gather, yaoi fangirls hit you with the yaoi paddles and scream "YAOI!!" to be annoying and/or sway you to their cause. But I've never been to a con, so I wouldn't know.
Think happy thoughts.

yeah and the final goal is making you make out with another guy surrounded by them while they scream and jump around and chear... saw it happen several times at the least con... its rather sickening

*hopes fervently that her Orochimaru costume will not attract yaoi fangirls* *thinks twice about chasing Sasukes around her next convention with a permanent marker for making curse seals*

I love that Miroku you went with, Cap'n Crack, though. XD He looks so funny! I would have loved to see his face after that unfortunate Shuichi encounter too...

Wow, scary thought. Just steer clear of Jet/Vicious cosplayers and you should be fine.

it makes ya wanna go take their paddles and slap them around

lol

My reaction would probably be to make an escape for the time being.... and come back with an anti-yaoi paddle and let the carnage begin.

"Ingemar's Head?" Mr. Smarty Pants, I don't want to be involved in your lurid fantasies.

AX 2005 is gonna be fun for me. Kantarou cosplay = yaoi paddle guarantee. I'm going to be getting a lot of excercise this year. Maybe I can try to exorcize anyone intruding upon my personal space? :)

I'd say get a Haruka to eat them all, but they probably taste nastier than most oni, and even I wouldn't subject Haruka to a trial as horrid as that.

I do believe that these fangirls would be a bit too scared to attempt this act on a person such as myself, seeing as I would probably kill them.

I tend to go go goth at the Cons...or not dress up...so any implication would = death (figuratively)... this gives me another good reason never to cosplay.
