mwahahahahahahah!!!! Simon-sama is turning to the "dark side". Once again he gave Constantine a better review than Bo, and he even liked Anthony this week. YAY!!! But he still hates Scott...BOOOO!!! *Throws a cellphone at Simon* I think the most likely person to go this week is Nadia. I think the bottom three will probably be Nadia, Scott ( :waah!: ), and probably Vonzell.

OK sorry guys but I REALLY don't like Anthony. Most of the time he just sounds so average, and he depends on his ability to wink at the camera every week and make the twelve year olds swoon to keep him on. And I think Carrie is always awesome, I really want her to win. However, Anthony did pretty well this week so I don't want him to go home tomorrow. I'd rather have Scott go home tomorrow, he's pretty good and all, but throughout the whole audition process he was so mean and annoying and acted so stuck up. I would rather have a nice person who can sing win than a mean person who can sing. :P And was Vonzell cute tonight or what? She's so much fun to watch.

I loved Carrie's performence tonight. She did "Love is a battlefield" perfectly, and its one of my alltime favorite songs! :D Nadia was great too, and the judges should be sporked to death for there bad comments on her, she was good! Her outfit was cool-as always.^^Bo was awsome, way cooler than Constantine, Go Bo! *O*/ Sadly though, I think Nadia will be in the bottem three because all the fangirls will vote for Constantine , that smile is so creepy @_@ Anthony, hopefully, will get kicked off.
happy go luck monkey!

Scott-sama isn't mean, he's introverted!! I'd be quicker to say that the other guy, the one who had the teddy bear, was mean for saying a word about Scott that had to be bleeped. And all he did was show up for his group practice late, how does that make him mean?? I call "Fundemental Attribution Error"!! *extra points for anyone who knows what that is, lol. hey, Communications Class was actully useful!* And anyway, I don't really think their personalities should have anything to do with the show. its a SINGING contest, not a "whos the nicest person" contest!

 I'm tired of living in a society where your considered untrustworthy or shifty if your not outgoing and you don't smile all the time or look people in the eye. Down with sterotypes against introverted people!!!

Being a bit of an introvert (in certain settings) myself, I would just like to say that I'm not sure anyone who was truly introverted would say "I think I rocked." Just not a very introverted thing to say.

Either way, I think that Scott or Nadia are going home this week, just based on performance. Everyone was pretty solid this week, and, to me, there were no obvious "weakest links." Not that that seems to matter anymore. . .

My rankings for this week:

1) Vonzel (She sounded awesome and her performance was very enjoyable.)
2) Carrie (I loved her song too, Chibs. I didn't even notice that she'd messed up the words until Randy said something.
3) Constantine (Even though his "Make love to the camera" face scares the crud out of me, he sounded good.)
4) Anwar.
5) Bo.
6) Anthony (Double Darn, he sang a song I liked and everything but the first verse sounded good.
7) Nadia (She didn't sound bad-- neither did anybody else.
8) Scott. (In the words of Randy Jackson "I just wasn't feelin' it, dawg.")

Sadly, my money's on Nadia going home tonight.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

I watched the show from last night twice, because I wanted to hear the pitch problems Randy continued to lament. I could not find the problems, and realized - Randy is going a little tone deaf in his older age. I can't believe he said Anwar is the best vocalist in the competition. I thought vocals stemmed from a strong diaphragm, and Anwar has some real issues with that. I'd guess Mr. Robinson was a smoker (not sure what he smoked) at one time. :eh:

Okay, my list in order of who I thought was best to worst. Also, at this point in the competition, I think all the singers are a pretty good caliber compared to the years past. I'm going to be nice today. XDD

1. Carrie - AWESOME!!! She rocked  ; how many young ladies can take on the "rock chick" of the 80's, Pat Benatar and pull it off with the vocals? I know I can't. I mean, she did not go sharp, as Randy mistakenly said.
2. Vonzell - Her performance was great!
3. Bo - I can not dislike someone who looks like my son. :) When I heard he was going to do "Free Bird" I screamed. It was like the crazy teen years came back. BO :wow!: is doing Lynard Skynard? Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh, Oh my gosh!!! I was glued to the T.V. He performed it fantastically! Simon just didn't like the song because the Who (or another Brit) did not make it famous in the 70's.
4. Nadia - She did a lousy song great. However, man she needs to learn how to pick songs. (-__- )\;;
5. Anwar - So-so, and his vocal control is wobbly. I mean he hit his last notes, again. He's also so boring.

Eh, these guys all go to the bottom, Scott was worse than the other two:

Constantine - Freddie Mercury? I still give him a 6 on vocals, not a 7. I want to add, there is a little trick singers, who aren't too good, can do when they sing. Constantine does it really well. He cuts his notes short, so that he won't go off-key - he probably learned it on stage. Listen to him closely and notice how he does these dramatic endings on his notes. ~_^

Anthony - I'm with Yumie. He was "okay." That's just about it. I'm thnking of giving him a nickname - "karaoke man" :brow:

Scott - *deep breath* Sing in tune through the entire song, please?

On Wednesday night, how much you want to bet Anthony and Constantine will be safe? I fear Nadia may go home and Bo will be in the bottom three.

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

People can be "communication aprehensive" ^^ in some situations but not others. Maybe Scott doesn't do well with group projects. I can relate to that, I always hated doing group prjects in school, and that was with people I knew! I don't know how I would handle a situation were I'm forced to work with two total strangers on something as stressful as singing in front of Simon Cowell, Of course, its possible that Scott's actions during Hollywood had something else behind them. Maybe he didn't feel well, or maybe he had something distracting on his mind. Who knows, but I guessed he was introverted because it seems like the most likely possibility to me, considering that in general Scott seems less outgoing than the others.

As for that comment, when did he say it? Was it last night? If it was then you coudl probably attribute it to him becoming more confidant, considering that he has made it to Best 8 and his performance this week was much better than last week's

Just a quick note- AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH!!!! Scott, the evil loser who wears shirts that looks like they were sewn by Omar the Tentmaker, is still here, and NADIA IS GONE!!!!!! I hate the world. It's things like this that make me want to actually start voting. Sigh......

I know, I'm so sad, I think I've gone a little hoarse from screaming out of frustration in the two or three minutes after the show. Scott needs to GO HOME! And Anthony too! I can't believe they're both going on and Nadia is going home! AUGH!!!!

Ok, I'm not sure I remember this right, but didn't he not show up at all? Like pretty much the only time they really did it together was when they performed it? That's what I seem to remember. And beside that, I know I remember when his group members were talking to him and the whole time he just looked at them like they were the biggest idiots he had ever set eyes on. That kind of strikes me as mean, ha ha. He just really rubs me the wrong way, I'll be disappointed if he stays in this competition much longer.

:waah!: :waah!: :waah!: Joins in the tears. I was like so happy Bo was safe, but why... WHY didn't Scott GO HOME?!

What is wrong with people? You don't have to feel sorry for Scott. He will be fine. He's not as good as the others - give it up already. It's not right to vote for people who do not sing or perform well.

Nadia was Chibs favorite and I'm so sad that she's gone. :waah!:

You know what's wild? Last night the only two people I voted for were Bo and Nadia. I voted once for Carrie, but that was only because I could not get through, so she obviously got a lot of votes.

Osaka, next time vote for Bo! Don't forget... kay? ;)

If Bo leaves before the off-tune Scott, "karaoke man" Anthony or "Lizard Lounge Singer," Constantine I'm going to stop watching this show. :shady:

Ok, I'm not sure I remember this right, but didn't he not show up at all? Like pretty much the only time they really did it together was when they performed it? That's what I seem to remember.

He showed up, he was just really late. But anyway, I think the thing that everyone is conveniantly forgetting is the fact that Scott and his two group mates were getting along just fine the very next day, enough that they were hugging before their performance and the teddy bear guy (what was his name??) took back his negative comments about Scott from the previous day. Now personally, I think that if the two people who were PRIMARILY affected by Scott's behavoir were able to forgive him and become friends with him, then we, the viewers, who weren't even there, might be able to give him the benefit of the doubt.

What is wrong with people? You don't have to feel sorry for Scott. He will be fine. He's not as good as the others - give it up already. It's not right to vote for people who do not sing or perform well.

>_<. ( ...again ^_^) That's the kind of attitude I'm tired of hearing from every other person in the universe. I think we need to all stop acting as if there is any kind of objective component to this compeitition, because there really isn't. It's ALL subjective!! People like who they like, and there really isn't any logic or reason to it. There is nothing "wrong" with Scott fans or Anthony fans or fans of anyone, and they shouldn't have to "give it up" because they have different prefrences. I know you're probably not trying to be mean, but when you talk like that it can be insulting to other people who do care about the contestants. And I can personally vouch for the Scott fans I know; they aren't voting for him because they feel sorry for him, the're voting for him because they LIKE him!!!!

Ya know, I really wish this final competition didn't have to happen. They all sang and got America's votes, they all made it to the top 12, so I think they're all winners. I say give em all recording contracts and be done with it, then America can "vote" with their money instead of their phones.

They'll all get recording deals. They just have to be voted off first. It's a minor technicality, honestly.

they aren't voting for him because they feel sorry for him, the're voting for him because they LIKE him!!!!

This may be partly true- yes, where I greatly dislike Scott I'm sure there are a lot of people who just really like his singing voice- I don't think it's entirely true. I do think there are probably a lot of people who vote for him because they feel sorry for him. Because he's the underdog, he's not as attractive as the others, he's not as much of a stage presence or as entertaining to watch, who knows? It's pretty hard to generalize either way. I agree with True_Noir_Chloe, I think that vocally he's just not as fantastic as everybody else even if they are all talented. And as for Anthony, I think there are a lot of twelve year olds who love watching him bat his long eyelashes that are keeping him in the competition. I just REALLY hope that they are the next two to go home- they're both decent, but in my opinion, just not up to par with the others.

Just google or Amazon.com them, and you'll probably find a CD. I'm pretty sure I heard on the TV Guide channel that Amy Adams released one atleast. . .

Oh, and I just wanted to mention that Ryan Seacrest got a million Osaka brownie points for giving Nadia his tie to cry on Wednesday. That was really sweet.

Okay Rocketshipper, you're :banned: fromt he AI thread. Didn't you get the memo, only people who don't like Scott can post on this thread? ... ;)

   I am so joking with you. I am sorry I offended you with my opinion. You can obviously vote for who you like. I'll try to be kinder in my remarks regarding your favorite person on the show.

That's a great idea. Maybe she'll go into acting like Tamyra (sp?) Gray.

Oh yes, and who is John Stephens? :eh:

Nadia defenitly always looked her best for every song. I really liked her Mowhawk from a few weeks ago. That performance was actully one of my favorites of hers, even if the judges didn't like it.

I've searched on Amazon for both John and Amy but nothing came up. I heard that Jasmine has a CD out and it's doing really well in Asia, but I havn't seen it around either. It's probably discrimination against them for not making the top 2. *searches Amazon again* hey, there's John!!!

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00076YPM6/qid=1113509946/sr=2-1/ref=pd_bbs_b_2_1/103-0349035-2875857

-_-. it's a single, and it's incredibly cheap. Aren't singles usally like 10 dollars or something?? I don't think thats a good sign

John Stevens was the red haired teenager from season 3, the one who sang like Frank Sinatra. He was the "Anthony" of season 3, a lot of people didn't think he was that good, but he still stuck around for a signifigant amount of time. I think he may have been 6th or 7th out, I don't remember.

Man, I was REALLY hoping that Scott or Anthony would totally bomb tonight so I wouldn't have to worry about losing any more of my favorite people tomorrow night, but I'll just have to sweat it out now, they both did fairly well. The only thing is that for some reason Anthony's performances always strike me as just a little cheesy. . . don't know why, somehow they just do.

I'm not sure who I liked best tonight-- I guess my top three would be Carrie (of course), Vonzell (of course), and Bo (of course.)

And was it just me, or did anybody else notice the enormous amount of eye make-up Constantine was wearing tonight?!?! That just looked a little creepy. . . *shivers* He sounded pretty good though, so with my eyes closed, I give his performance an 8. With them open, I'm too scared to think clearly. . . (ha ha, I'm rambling and being to harsh on him.)

(And for those of you wondering about Amy Adams, I saw a tv guide special about her recently and she's like 8 and 1/2 months pregnant, so I think she's probably a little out of commision right now. . .)

VOTE FOR BO, NOW!!! He rocked the house! Bo and Carrie in the final.

My order for the night:

1. Carrie, 2. Bo and 3. Vonzell - They all did great! If one of these are in the bottom three that would be pathetic.

These did not do too badly, but they are just not up to par vocally. I especially love how Constantine continues to pull the mike away from his mouth, so no one hears him fall flat at the end of his note. Have you ever heard him hold a note? He was horrendous. Anwar, was just... man... just not very good.
4. Scott
5. Anthony
6. Constantine
7. Anwar

And please, PLEASE, I hope Simon stuffs a sock in Paula's mouth next week. :shake: She needs to be quiet and let Simon speak. She is so blitzed during these shows someone really needs to contain her. (-__- )\ oi vay...

I'm a big fan of Frank Sinatra. He is one of the all-time greatest vocalists of our time, and the red-headed kid was NO Frank Sinatra. He sang the same type of music - standards - but he was NO Frank Sinatra. :eyebrow: No, he didn't sing LIKE Frank Sinatra. He'd have an album that people would pay more than $2 for if he did.

Lol, I totally agree with you-- I used to like her, but now she just TOTALLY GETS ON MY NERVES!!! ARG!!!! I think she's lost all ability to be objective about anything, she thinks that nobody deserves a bad review (and believe me, some people DO.) However, I think Simon has been a little harsh lately, but I almost like it just because it makes Paula mad, so it's all good! :D

I believe insipid was the word Simon used, but basically it means the same thing.

Oh, and just for you, true_noir_chloe, I actually voted tonight- about 20 times, and all for Bo. I got a busy signal a zillion times, though, but I think that's a good sign.

woot!! Disco Seizures. lots of spinning lights!! I think tonight was probably the best night out of the 6 top 12 nights so far. Everyone sang an up-tempo song. You know, the judges are always complaing about them choosing slow safe ballads, THIS is the solution!!! Anyay...Constantine was cool tonight. Every week he's getting better and better. I'm starting to become a fan. But in the end he wasn't as memorable as some other people. Could he fal pray to the "curse of first place". It got Jessica and Nadia. Could it claim another victum?? Carrie's song has got to be one of the weirdest songs ever. Does it even make sense, lol. The beginning and the end sounded great, but during the middle it sounded like she dropped out. It could have been due to all the insesent clapping or the music being loud, but for a moment I couldn't hear her. I actully wouldn't be too surprised if she was in the bottom three this week. Scott: I LOVE that song!!! I heard it somewhere recently but I can't recall where. Did someone sing it earlyer in the competition?? anyway...*speed dials in another vote for Scott* Ganbatte!!! Anthony was pretty good this week too, but i liked his song choice last week more. Vonzel was probably better than Carrie but I wasn't totally in to her song either. Anwar: Meh. I can't even remember what song he sang, and the jumping around he did at the end of the song I thought was kind of weird. Bo: Probably better than last week, but I'm not wild about it. Rock isn't really my genre, unless it's being sung by Gackt.

My bottom three predictions. Anwar will probably be in there. Constantine could be there if the 1st place curse strikes again and he ends up being forgettable. I actully wouldn't be surprised either if Carrie or Bo (hides from other CAA members) were there this week, but they probably have too much support, and Bo fans may have gotten a significat scare from last week. Scott and Anthony could be there, but they obviously must have a fanbase existing somewhere, one that hasn't been sampled by this site or MSNBC's weekly polls, since they've stayed this long, and Scott DID get more votes than Bo last week. Either of them might MIGHT squeak by without going in. Events in the past have put Vonzel in the bottom three even when some people considered her performance among the best, so maybe America as a whole just doesn't like her very much. And that's like, everyone. So I really have no prediction ^^, other than Anwar. You can never tell 100% with this thing.

Paual wants to vote simon off next, lol. Well, I'd actully like to vote Randy off. It seems like he has only 4 or so general phrases that he gives to everyone. I think the other two (despite the fact that Paual is super nice) usally have a larger variety of comments than Randy does.

*kills self* I didn't get to vote last night.

(sorry i'm late, haven't been on in the last few days) O_O!! Osaka!!!!! :waah!: :waah!:

Anyways, Carrie was awsome she was THE best singer tonight, she better not be in the bottom three or heads will roll :shady: I missed Bo TT_TT.........I heard he was really good though so i'll just go on that. Vonzell was great too, she gets extra points for singing a song I absolutly love and doing a good job at it too. =) The others I could care less about so i'll just forget them.
happy go luck monkey!

Yumie, I was watching this morning show here in Texas and they have Celena Rae (do you all remember her being voted off?). Well, she is good friends with Nadia Turner and was ultra disappointed when she got voted off, rather than a certain other person last week.:eyeroll:

Anyways, on the show this morning she was so into Bo and so was the other gal on the show, and I was like "weeee, more Bo fans in Texas!" And then the guy on the program, when they asked who they all thought would get voted off, he kept chanting, "please let it be Scott." I mean, it was funny, he was in the background whispering that over and over and he had Celena and the other gal cracking up.

Anyway their prediction was Anwar being voted off tonight. And they even thought Carrie might make the bottom three *gasp*. I guess we will see.

That was the DUMBEST thing I've ever seen.

Their method for sending Anwar home was absolutely inhumane.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. OH MY GOSH! I only have one word to say about tonight: HARSH.

Ok, I have a few more words too, :-P. I just can not believe they did that to Anwar, getting his hopes all up on being the one left behind to go to the couch and then throwing it in his face. . . makes me want to barf. . . Ryan gets WAY too much pleasure out of his job. At least we know that, even if they weren't the ones to go home, America is no longer so pleased with Anthony and Scott.

Last thing I have to say is: THEY HAD BETTER BE THE BOTTOM TWO NEXT WEEK!!!!!!

Yumie, I was watching this morning show here in Texas and they have Celena Rae (do you all remember her being voted off?). Well, she is good friends with Nadia Turner and was ultra disappointed when she got voted off, rather than a certain other person last week.

Nadia was great and everything, but how could you want her to stay over Bo? It completely beats me. . .

Why should America not be pleased with them now? It's not like it's there fault Anwar left. Ryan is becoming more and more evil as this show goes on, although I still don't think he's topped the stunt he pulled during the pre-lims, where he dragged people up on stage and then cut someone who was sitting down. That little segment on him getting a hollywood star was kind of annoying, and obvious filler to drag things out. It was totally unfair to ask Bo to choose which of the two groups he thought he should be in.

edit: Someone from my Scott fan group posted up the voting ranking from the last show. I don't know where he got them, but here they are...

7. Anwar (duh)
6. Scott
5. Anthony
4. Vonzel
3. Bo
2. Constantine
1. Carrie

He said Carrie was ahead by a large percentage of votes. and Constantine is ahead of Bo! mwahahahahaha!
