I have had to use AOL at a friends house before...and I hate it. I would rather have someone poke me in the eye with there thumb then use it on a regular basis. I use Firefox...it seems to work fine for me.

O.O I HAVE to show penpen this thread... she will have much to say.
however we both agree on a regular basis that it is indeed the internet provider of satan. the trial discs are free though, so if you ever want some free (defective) costers you're good to go.. of course, cardboard probably works just as well and you can usually find that without leaving the comfort of your home.

<3 firefox!

NO THEY DON'T, I've tried them! They've got a hole in the center, so if you put a cold drink on them, water will leak through the bottom, GOSH!

AOL sucks, as an internet service provider, you can't even use their discs for coasters!

gosh.... aol is rupping us off MULTIPLE TIMES!

:comp: :comp: AOL IS THE INTERNET SERVICE OF HELL! *twitch* :comp: :comp: Even the best computers can be tainted by its evilness. My old computer, as my close friends call Satan, died because of it. Now my loaned laptop (Belzeebub, the spawn of my old computer, my friends also call it) is turning because of aol because of its piece of crud virus protector that for some strange reason wroe off again. It takes advantage of the people who cant afford anything else *coughmecough* :bang: The people behind the making of this abomination must be found and delt with. *twitch*

Yes kneko-chan....I could say so much more but CAA wouldn't alow it.

AOL MUST DIE :comp:

 I personally like to make a game out of pitching AOL CDs at brick walls. It's fun to watch them shatter and scatter pretty sparkly bits everywhere. ^_^

i created my aol cd shuriken! i got an aol cd. put 4 paper clips on the sides. put 2 int he center to stabalize all the sharp edges (so they wont fall off) added a second 4 paper clips to the ends, and finalized it with binder clips... imagine how it would feel to have spinning binderclips hit your face

i should stabalize the bottom as well

Don't use AOL. Even for the 'free' demo.

At January, I called them to cancel the thing before the trial expired. Two months later, I see TWENTY THREE FRAGGIN' DOLLARS deducted in my bank statement. Apparently, once you 'cancel', you have to call them back again to finalize your cancellation. I think that's a dang dishonest and underhanded way of trying to leech more money from you for their way-below mediocre services.

The ISP itself sucks, but that goes without saying.
