I say we all do something evil to Shatterheart, like...make him moderate the Kaldris section for all eternity until he dies from boredom!

This begs the question. Did Ashley know about this?
Absence is to love as wind is to a flame. It extinguishes the little, it ignites the great.

Life is a test. It is only a test. Had this been real life you would have have been instructed where to go and what to do.

When i argue with reality I lose.....But only 100% of the time.

Once you've decided on a course of action, only you can finish it. As long as you remember that, there's nothing you can't accomplish.

I'm guessing cause if it was real, Ashley would go crazy and blow everything up instead of simply shedding a tear.

Me and Koko-chan were quite depressed, and for what!? Some lame little April Fools stunt. Lame-o.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

(reposted original post.)

Yeah... you posted it before April Fool's Day in my timezone.

You know the real reason I was giving you the benefit of the doubt, though? 'Cause I thought you were above playing with people's feelings like that and shamelessly fishing for compliments. -_- Guess I was completely wrong on that one.
-_-

I didn't think it was funny at all, and when I read it, I hoped it wasn't a joke, just because there are people around who'd miss you (I don't know you well, so I probably wouldn't be affected as much) and the whole thread messes with people's emotions (and there were some who posted just pretending to be sad... gah), which is one of the worst feelings in the world.

And to whoever is planning to tell me "Lighten up! It's just a joke :P", I can't right now. =/

You put a semicolon in the web address. XD That was too cruel, Shatterheart-sama. I almost died.

<<Oh uh... i KNOW you made Volt cry...poor Volt...*extends 2000mile stick to pat him on the back*>>
Volt nothing, you almost made me cry!

<<You will hate me at first, and then...either love me...or, plot to run me down in a small forign made car.>>
Mmm. I agree. Um, not about the foreign car part.

<<I might as well give you a fair warning (carefully illustrated).>>
All you've accomplished with that is giving me a desire to see Castle of Caliostro and/or learn how to spell it right.
Think happy thoughts.

Rock on Doc. That made me laugh so hard I really did fall out of my chair--it's one of those funky balance ergonomically correct ones so it's not that hard, but still. I burst out laughing when I heard that. I told Steve he would have to answer all the PMs I got about it.

Shatterheart wrote:Considering that I have angered 2 site founders in the last few years, then been asked by the same ones I angered to join there staff...

Technically you didn't anger me. I was away that weekend, remember? XD

And as for if I knew about it or not...yes I did but I was completely powerless to stop it. So I rolled with the punches as best I could. BUT I do want to thank all you kind people who really did go out of their way to comfort me, most notably of all Inkhana.

If it *really* happened, I'd probably be too shellshock to even grace it with a response, then promptly buy tickets for Maine and beat the living tar out of someone and then cry and cry and cry.

...hang on...That's what I get for not paying attention...lol

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Maybe you should put a bold print notice over your original "I'm leaving post" and leave the thread open. I'l guessing it will become CAA history.
