TO THOSE UNAWARE THIS WAS AN APRIL FOOL'S JOKE. I AM NOT LEAVING CAA AND I LOVE YOU ALL

It's been a long time since Ashley invited me to join the staff here on CAA. I have a lot of great memories..and a lot of sad ones as well I suppose. Through the good and the bad its been a heck of a ride. It is with a very heavy heart that I write this..but it needs to be said. Do to several events I will be stepping down my post on CAA. I have not discussed this with my fellow staffers, but effective April 2nd I will no longer be an Admin here. I don't want anyone to feel singled out..because this is not because of any single event. Its just been a long laundry list...a long time being made. I will still come around from time to time to chat with old friends...but no longer with the staff. I wish everyone the best...and I hope I can leave with no hard feelings with anyone. My replacement I am sure will be announced within the week. Cry no tears for me, because I cry none for this site. I apologize for nothing, and I am proud of what I have accomplished over the years. Stay strong everyone.

ACK! NO!! STAFFERS ARE DROPPING LIKE FLIES!!!

I'm very sad to see you go. Let me say now what is never said as often as it should: I really appreciate all the work you (and all the other staffers for that matter) have done for this site. You cannot even begin to understand how much I appreciate you for helping with this site. This place holds such a special place in my heart. Thank you for making that possible.

You will be missed. Please, come around and goof off with us from time to time, okay?
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Two minutes too late my friend. While I am deeply, beyond words saddened by the loss of another of my dear staffers this week. But, as upset as I am right now, I do hope you will find the Lord in whatever you do.

I guess....this is goodbye, then...

*sigh*

I just can't find it in my soul to say what I'm feeling right now. Perhaps some others can express what I am feeling. I can say however, "You will be missed the entirety of your time away - however long it may be."

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close

Well, all I can say Shatterheart old buddy is:

We've both had rough times at each other and it's all forgotten and your interest in wacky, weird things still kinda...creep me out...but that's what's cool about you.

You will be deeply missed my friend, and I hope you will come back again to to either roleplay, comment or just goof off with us.

We love ya buddy, and stay in the word, Jesus Christ that is.

Don't forget about my poem in the sig.

We have lived long enough to know,
We are brothers and sisters in Christ,
If you are in need of any help,
We shall give you His advice.

May you live this day,
And stick with God forever,
For when Christ comes again,
We will all go together...

Into Heaven for Eternity.

*shakes Shatterhearts hand*

God bless my friend,
CephasVII

Edit: oh, geez, I just saw your new avatar...it's choking me up inside.

Bye Steve

YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Sigh.

Well, this news perfectly ruined my day. And it's only 09:30am already. I'm very sorry to see you go, Shatterheart. I do hope you look in from time to time on us. In fact I can't imagine the CAA without you. You're as much a part of the CAA as any of the other moderators.

But then a change is as good as holiday, they say. And, whatever reasons you have for leaving the staff is probably not a petty one. So I wish you good luck in whatever you set out to do (Irking more liberals, I suppose  ).

Farewell and Good luck for the future.

Maybe you woon't ever get this, but while i havent really gotten to know you personally like i have ashley and UC Pseudonym your leaving does sadden me. Makes me wish i had gotten to know you better when i had the chance. Oh well. I can't change the past, though i can learn from it.

I dont know you well and yet im still saddened by your departure. The words arent coming to really describe how i feel so ill leave it at that. I've always said that CAA is what it is because of the members and while that is true it is you and the other staffers that keep it up and running when we have server crashes and troll attacks. Thankyou for everything. Farewell, and i wish you the best of luck for the future.

First the Server, Then Gypsy, then Shatterheart... then Lilya(I just got done watching "Lilya 4-ever")

Everything Sucks... life is sad, what's next? Huh? Huh!
This is so horrible. It's almost like... ... ... I don't know it's just horribly sad.

I don't like Changes, I don't like people leaving, I feel abandoned, my childhood has already left a mark on me. ... ...

As long as you guys are still on the forums, i think i'll be ok.
*begins thinking about the old CAA memebers that are gone*
*goes into depression*

... replacement... there can be no replacement, that's like replacing a one of a kind vase. also...

I'm leaving CAA perminantly. i've wanted to do this for a long time but I've never gathered the courage to let go.
