I think I'll watch Trigun...

"I actually like those episodes for the insight they give into Millie's character."

Well, then...I'll be watching extra carefully.

WHAT!!! You're not happy with the latest Trigun manga?! Blasphemy! Heresy! Whatever! Noooo! The latest one, IMO, is the best one so far! *huggles Knives-kun* (Hey, lookit that. I called him Knives-kun. I hope he doesn't find out.) And I can tell from the spoilers that it's going to get better and better. MEEP! I can't wait till the one in May comes out!

It's just so hard to follow what's going on. I have a general idea of what happened as a whole, but at any single point I am at a loss.

Speaking of hard to follow, that last ep (number 9) was crazy. When did Vash get wounded? What happened in the duel? Why did the Bad Lads leader go all heroic at the end? :dizzy:

Ah, you had the same problem my brother did. You must not have seen the blood. When Vash was in the control room with Kaite, he stepped out and got a surprise attack from the Bad Lads. They got him in the stomach before he had a chance to shoot them. So when he fought BDN, he fell down because he reopened his wounds. I guess BDN didn't think it was very fair to shoot Vash while he was down, or something. Maybe he just liked Vash's style, but anyway, he decided to help Vash because Vash did well.

No no...well, partially. But mostly because of how much I love the manga. Although, whenever I'm showing someone "Paradise", I have to go...somewhere...when Millie brings Nicholas sandwiches, up until he's talking to Vash the next day...

I loved the way that Wolfwood tried to con his ride on the bus in Wednesday's episode by asking the driver if he could take his confession!
That portable confessional makes for an hilarious head piece!
I still think Meryl's the best character in the show. :thumb:

Yeah, ep 9 (Murder Machine) is my favorite so far. It was hilarious, revealed some interesting things, and was...hilarious!

"That's one heck of a well prepared dead guy."

And thanks for clearing that up, Lunis.

All I'll say about Trigun is it's the only anime I've ever considered good enough to make me watch through a second time. It's unexpectedly deep after the halfway point of the series.

I dunno if it's blasphemy, really...

*dodges kick from Angel Sakura*

Millie and Meryl do indeed make up some of the greatest moments of Trigun so far, but there are a lot of other non-Meryl/Millie parts.

The show still would have been good, but the ending would have been hard to get through with out the insurance girls, so I'm going to have to agree with Mitsuki Lover on this one.
The subtle shift from straight men to comedic foils balanced the sudden seriousness of Vash. The overall story became more serious, as it needed to, but the girl provided much-needed comic relief.
MHO, anyway.

Last night was fun the way Millie started to blaze away at those hoods after they
walked all over her pudding. Then Wolfwood reminded her that SHE was the one
who dropped the pudding in the first place!

You've watched it already? I don't see them until the next afternoon after school. What do you do, stay up until midnight?

Uh...

Don't answer that question.

I get up at three-fifty, sneak downstairs to the basement, watch it, go back upstairs, apologize to Nicholas for waking him up, go to sleep, and wake up at five thirty to get ready for school. Somehow, I feel more awake this way. And I don't even fall asleep until eleven thirty or twelve.
EDIT: Oh, and what did you think of "Quick Draw"?

It was a really good episode... Vash redirecting that bullet with rocks was truly impressive.

That and episode 5 - "Hard Puncher", I believe - are my favorites so far. (Although you said 11 was one of the two you hated...what was so bad about it? It wasn't great, but I thought it had its moments.)

I keep falling asleep in the middle of Trigun.Evil AS for putting their anime on so late at night.I'd rather that they show Inuyasha,Trigun and Big O from 11:00-
12:00 midnight. That way I wouldn't fall asleep half way through.

You won't believe this, but it took me until like the fiftieth time I saw the episode to figure out what he was doing. It was actually my grandpa that said it, and I instantly felt stupid and went, "Ohhh...."

So! The appearence of Legato-sama! What did you people think of everyone's favorite psycho? (Except for Lunis-chan. We all know she has a different faovrite psycho.)
Think happy thoughts.
