thanks for the help ^_^ i originally had 50 aswell, but i already used some and am going to try to save at least 10 or 15 just in case [they say that your invite increase back up to your max depending on how many invites you currently have, the more, the faster, of course thats just what i heard]

btw:I have only given one invite so far, cmon people, its not exactly an every day thing XD

Let me put it this way--I'm as adamant about Gmail's superiority to everyone else as Gypsy and Volt are about Firefox. ^^ Yeah, I love my gmail account; it's worth it.

And for the record, I suppose technically this could go in a computing section...but it is meant as a general invite so it's ok here. At least until another staffer gets on and tells me I'm whacked.

It also A-remembers every contact you've ever emailed and B-lets you make notes about those contacts. For example, I could say:

Sarah
- Daystar Staffer
- Chief of Random Christian Organization

Sarah
- friend from work

And there's the gmail notifier, which pops up on your desktop when new mail is recieved, like MSN or Yahoo IM does. ^^

actually they use3 their own ads. google ads ussually can be edited to blend in with the rest of the page byt changing the colors properly. look around and you will find them. of course, you would expect google to use their own ads XD

POP access - (can use ThunderBird, Outlook to access your mail, this way you get ZERO ads and never have to really log in. POP mail is the original MAIL of the internet, it wasn't until a while after the mail's creation that companies like Yahoo etc... started making web mail, where your mail account and e-mails are saved Online, POP mail is a less HTML visual mail. You use the application(thunderbird) to access this mail, it downloads from a server onto your comp, it's faster, better and very efficiant.)

With POP mail, you don't have a Limit, your limit is your hard drive, if you have a 30 gig HD, then You've got about a 29 gig Mailbox, POP mail downloads to you and erases from the server.(option)

the web version of Gmail shows replies in the form of Chat archives or such. That way you can skip to what you said on march 3rd, then skip to what the other guy replied. It's easy and awesome.


WALLA.com also offers 1gig mail, but it sucks, none of the features and it's very slow, over loaded servers.

I've got invites, but I've heard some real bad things about gmail http://www.gmail-is-too-creepy.com/ and 31 companies have asked google to suspend it untill security issues have been resolved (just to let ya know). Anyways, if you want an invite, go ahead and PM me. I do like a lot of gmails features, they're really good, but I'm trying to be careful with it.

no actually that might not be a bad idea. we might get into trouble with gmail for bringing in so many memebers at once, but it might not be a bad idea [and then when they accept invites, we tell them to invite random people as well ^_^, lol
