Sundoulos: The Christian Fanfiction Archive

Postby Aibou » Wed Mar 23, 2005 4:28 am

My serious attempt to collect Christian (fan) fiction on the web...

Please let me know what you think about it! :D (open for suggestions)

It looks fairly nice, and with content it would look professional. Personally, I'd suggest only having the subcategories for which you have or will soon have stories, then add more as you get submissions.

A question: are you looking for stories that are Christian in theme, or merely written by Christians? If the latter, I could probably submit a fair amount of stuff.

I have registered, but I do not have time to add any stories at the moment. When I do, however, I'll have stories for the following categories:
Anime: Naruto, Trigun
Games: Metroid
Movies: The Matrix

I can submit my Trigun fanfiction, the only one I'm happy with thus far. ^^;; "Appearences Are Decieving".
Think happy thoughts.

Cool! I doubt I'll be submitting anything, but I really hope it does well! It's an awesome idea.

(in response to an interview question "Do you have a pet peeve having to do with this biz?")
People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

I've submitted some further work, and in the process ran into something I think could be improved: each chapter operates like an individual story. I think it would be better if you rated your story based on everything within it, then could add only some details for each chapter. It seems to me that the entire story would be the same genre, right? This is also an issue with summaries: the summary for your first chapter must be the summary for the entire story.

I know, but that's how the PHP script works.. I've got no idea how to change that ^^;
