Religious-Themed Email Virus

Postby V8Tsunami » Tue Mar 22, 2005 7:26 am

There's a new email virus going around that fakes itself as a religious mesage. As always, never open anything from someone that you don't know.

Original message
There is a new email virus going around with the subject heading "Jesus loves you" or "It takes courge to follow Jesus" or other similar religeous themes. The virus in this email can erase critical files on your hard drive, so don't open anything unless you are sure of the source... and then be careful anyway!
This message has been brought to you by the Members of the My Job Drives Me Nutz Association. :dizzy::hits_self:lol:

I might be mistaken, but that sounds like an internet hoax that ran around a few years back...

Hmm, isn't the actual virus in an attachment? All popular mail providers block viruses and scripts, at least with webmail, I don't know about pop3
