His comments about "Oh My Goddess" were hillarious. I'd better not watch that show. Wouldn't want people under 18 thinking they're capable of love. Poor confused little Belldandy. :lol:

Yeah, I saw this ages ago. I wouldn't get too upset about it, though. Someone would write a petition ban water if they thought anyone would sign it.

there are plenty of worser things in the world than anime, how about a petition to ban abortion, or some other such true evils, i mean, if he wants to ban anime, then he should just try to ban all cartoons altogether 'cus the only difference is the country of origin and that's not even so true anymore

*shakes his head and sighs in frustration*

sometimes people think that they can argue their way to saving people, so they try and try and try to do just that, but all it really does is turn people off to the truth 'cus they then associate anything having to do with Jesus with the one person that tried to argue the point without trying to show God's love, i say don't try to ban the anime, pray for God to change the hearts of those that create it, then we won't even have to sweat the bad stuff, duh!

After a few months I'm going to check back on the Ban Grass Petition and see how it's doing. ROFL.

Hopefully there will be a few thousand Signatures in an attempt to Ban Grass. it shall serve as an example for people like neko332@rogers.com to just...shut up.

No matter what is out there and no matter how much it is loved by the public, someone is going to get angry at it and try to stop it. People have different taste and they range from enjoying it to being utterly disgusted by it. I feel no anger to this person it is just their beliefs just like you believe in (insert your religion here). You may not beleive that all anime is evil but this person does... but it most likely drawn from only 2 or 3 animes and not all of it.

This guy is a joke. I don't mean that in the insult sort of way, he actually was joking. He was making a crack at G.W and at Christians. Nothing more.

As for the grass banning petition, I think that's funny. I should do a ban water petition. I know, I'm jumping on the bandwagon (or would it be "banwagon"), but I had the "water is evil" idea floating around for a while before I thought of making another petition.

I'm going to make a mockumentary about the evils of water... The big turning point is going to be the experiment: I take some popcorn, and say "Think of this like your insides" and pour water on it. "This is what water does to your insides. People don't realize how dangerous this stuff really is."

There's going to be interviews with people that will say things like "Water killed my uncle frank" and "My friend overdosed on water when he was using it at the comedy club... He sputtered and writhed for minutes, it nearly killed him" I will follow by a montage of surfing wipeouts, a shot from "To End All Wars" with the pump thing, and "The Wizard of Oz" I also want to include the dangers of second hand eating. Basically, being around fat people will make you fat and you'll get diseases from their second hand eating. (I am essentially tired of comparisons between overeating and smoking... Missing the one key difference: other people...) Anyhow...

Honestly, I find that rediculous...you can't talk a handful of bad anime shows to represent anime in general as something evil. It's like seeing one rabid dog bite someone and denouncing all dogs as vicious monsters.

Btw, while I would like to think this is a joke, there are some more conservative Christians out there that take this thing seriously...ex, has anyone heard of the Christian groups attacking Spongebob Squarepants?

i heard of something similar happening before in a city somewhere in which someone sent a message to the mayor of a city telling the mayor about the dangers of water and telling him that some had been released into the air (it was raining at the time) but it wasn't referred to as water, but as it's chemical name, sry i can't remember exactly what that is, but it was really fun, it mentioned how it can be fatal or cause brain damage if its inhaled and all kinds of funny stuff, the mayor even canceled a minor leage baseball game 'cus he thought the water in the air was gonna kill all the spectators, it was hilarious to read
