Well, you guys asked, and finally I have fought off laziness and insecurity long enough to post an "art" thread. I'll try to post something every week or so (I hope), and you can all see just how badly I draw.

With that said, I'd like to kick off this thread with a sketchy doodle I made this evening of my "older brother" Rob. The quotes are there because we're not legally related, but our friendship is that close that I no longer see any difference. He came over to help my dad set up an Excel spreadsheet, so I decided I'd draw him in anime-inspired style. The eyes are a work in progress - I decided I can live with them for now, but I want to come up with something better - but the hair's the best I've done yet. (Yes, Rob's hair is really that messy.)

Please comment and critique, heaven knows I need it.
