this is a song that I wrote a few months ago. Please tell me anything I can do to improve it!

I sit here and watch
The other kids play
And wonder why,
what do they have that I don't?
I sit in this pew
By my lonesome self,
Till someone came along
And introduced me
To the Almighty God

chorus;
what if we all stopped to
help a child find thier way
To God, he's the almighty,
and only God,
let's show the children the way.

I was walking home one day
it was kind of cold,
and a child was all alone
like I was that glorious day.
So I stopped and listened
And learned she'd never been told
Of his awesome love that he gives to all

I'll probably add more later. Just to let you know this is my first song that i've actually written down (not made up)tell me HONESTLY what ya'll think
