What do you guys do to waste time?

Postby Felix » Mon Mar 14, 2005 5:58 pm

I wasn't positive that this should go in general...but...what do you guys like to do when you've got time to burn. How do you waste time? Hobbies? Passtimes? Lets hear about them!

Me....I post on CAA  That pretty much eats all the free time I have. Otherwise I just play video games or eat stuff!

I generally play Word Games or online games with friends for fun but when my brain is already fried, I choose to get addicted to online games such as JT's Blocks, Super Bounce Out, Shockwave Zoo Game and Asteroids.

I should never do that whenever I'm supposed to be working hard on my thesis or some other assignments. (-__-);; Huuuuggee mistake......

When I'm bored, I go to my room and put a CD in the player, then I lay on my bed and listen to it. It depends on my mood, if I'm tired I will change between all the soft songs, or all my favourites, etc... I just lie and and listen to music.

Hobbies? Drawing... and, thinking about drawing... and looking at other's drawings... :eh: Discovering musicians, going on the computer, reading online novel or fanfiction.

Watch anime, watch movies, use the computer (internet mostly), play video games...that's most of it. I'm not a very physically active person, but I try to do a workout routine about every other day.

my time killing pertains to watching anime, playing videogames (re4 currently) and messing around in photoshop for the heck of it. when i feel motivated and creative, i try to to make music videos to anime i like (ima geek). when i cant sleep and wanna kill time, i clean my room or reorganize it. bit on the OCD side, but eh, least i know where all my loot is and stuff looks purdy ^_^

To pass time, I usually work out, play basketball, hang out w/ friends, listen to music, watch anime, play games, draw, surf the net or just watch TV. Or sometimes I just go driving... it's a nice way to clear my thoughts. :P

To kill time, I use a .454 Casull with quicksilver-type incendiary explosive rounds.
To waste time, I watch anime.

Play Solitaire, a game created for wasting time

I could be:
• Writing
• Reading
• Eating
• Sleeping

But nah, I play solitaire. Feel your mind melt a little every time you win!! MWAAHAHHAAAAA!

Actually, I don't have a lot of time to waste. That, however, depends on what you consider "wasted" time. I don't consider playing video games a waste of time... as long as it's intellectually stimulating (at least to a certain degree). Beating an rpg = not wasted time; beating Mario 3 repeatedly = waste of time. My time that isn't consumed by necessary activities (working, eating, sleeping, etc) is often spent on such things I feel are worthwhile.

Generally I don't waste time on CAA because I'm always doing it as a secondary activity while trying to do something important. Posting in this thread, however, is just burning a bit of time until something else comes up.

heh, I get on the compy unless someone else is on. If all the video games and computer are occupied...uhh...I walk the dog.

Mostly I read. There is one computer in Gungrave's room on which I write my stories. I'm the only one who goes on it.

If I get the urge or inspiration to do so, I'll grab up my drawing pad and draw. That doesn't happen too often since I'm not that good at it.

To kill time between breakfast and lunch, I'll wander around my kitchen several times trying to get an idea for what to eat.

If I'm REALLY bored, I'll look for a chore that needs to be taken care of. Like the dishes or cleaning out my guinea pig's litter, or something.
If you can force your heart and nerve and sinew
To serve your turn long after they are gone
And so hold on when there is nothing left in you
Except the Will which says to them: 'Hold on!' ...you'll be a Man, my son!

I watch TV- man, that stupid box is addicting! I read- but not lately, I don't know why. I hang around on CAA- it's so fun just to read about everyone here! I watch movies- I love movies. I play games on my computer- Solitaire will soon be the doom of civilization as we know it. Sleeping is good too.

Whistle loudly and irritatingly, watch my Trigun DVDs (I never get tired of "Quick Draw"), doodle, write purposely lame fanfic, scream, kick things, stare into space and think about bishounen, make cookies...
Think happy thoughts.

Hm, I might play some DDR or listen to music while reading or something. Or sometimes I'll stretch out on my floor and just start writing. ^^ I'll do lots of things, but rarely ever do I do what I'm supposed to be doing. Lol.
