No...honestly, only with bishies does physical attraction apply with me. Ask anyone who knows me well outside of the board. (Maybe I'm just weird or something... )
Heart of Sword's Rhapsody

Money, get away
Get a good job with good pay and you're okay
And all and all you're just another brick in the wall
Shoutin’ in the street gonna take on the world some day
But Bismallah will not let me go
Because I'll see you on the dark side of the moon

Tommy used to work on the docks
Union's been on strike
Bright eyes burning like fire
And exposing every weakness
However carefully hidden by the kids

Who will love a little Sparrow
Who's traveled far and cries for rest
Spare him his life from this monstrosity

I've seen a million faces and I've rocked them all
And if the band youre in starts playing different tunes
We will we will rock you
We will we will rock you!

ITYM not just good looks. Guys and girls alike can't deny that physical attraction enters into the equation somewhere; it just shouldn't be all or even the preponderance.

I somewhat agree. Like someone who doesn't care about their physical well being. If someone stops caring about their well-being, it's hard to care for another if they themselves don't care.

Weight or looks don't matter to me much... they really don't. But someone's character and attitude can also affect how we see another physically to a point. It really does. My main point is the person must be willing to care about themselves to care for another- emotionally and to a point physically (in the most extreme case). Or else the relationship is unbalanced. One person can't be the sole person giving all the love and comfort to the other. Both need to be willing to support each other and etc...

Although, I think my point was a bit off topic... Sorry.

I remember when that happened to me...I didnt realize at first but when these two guys came up behind me and honked I freaked out and thought they were just reckless, but I turned to my friend any way and asked "whats with them" and she said "aww its ok..they thought we looked good". Well thats all fine and dandy if your 19 and 20 like you guys (not saying its ok but its not as bad), But I was only 12 and this happened!..and the amazing thing is...I dont think im pretty at all.

I hated it when a girl I knew asked about one of my new guy friends. She said "Does he have a tight butt?" Actually, she said the other word, but it still upset me.

Yeah, alot of girls in my class know how I am about that, so they enjoy picking on me about it by doing very rude and sensual things to me, such as lap dancing on me. One girl in particular who would constantly harass me by rubbing her chest area or butt all over me and constantly telling me to "f***" her.

When I look at a girl I think looks good, I think that from seeing their face only. I then try to learn about them and see if they're Christian or not. I typically stay away from ones with "oversized parts", as it's generally quite easy to tell what they've been up to...

O.O...okay, that just scares me. That is beyond whorish, that is a ticket to hell for her.

Sorry if that offended anyone. but MAN! I just cannot believe how the women like that think that is funny...it's beyond sickness to me, I just don't understand it. It really saddens me, it really does.

Well do not discriminate against a girl because of the size of her chest it is not fair to think she is "easy" just because of the way God made her.. my previous girlfriend was well endowed and she was not like that at all

That isnt easy to do sometimes, but i try to do that myself. My girlfriend and i have never actually met in person. Actually thinking about it i never met my ex in person either. Didn't stop me falling for them. I come to love people for who they are, not what size breasts they have.

Being a guy, I don't have problems with men hitting on me. But I've had several women lately that have made unwanted advances towards me. I'm going to be 24 in a couple of weeks and I'm already feeling like a bitter old man, very sad. So I don't really want to have anything to do with women for a while, I tend to focus more on my arts and unfortunately I seem to be attractive and get approached by girls too often these days. As Kelso on That 70s Show said "I'm what's know as 'Man Pretty" lol So I can sympathize with you.

Just a quick word-- I know many very sweet christian girls who have good figures. The build of a woman says nothing about her soul. :) A friendly piece of advise so you don't miss a friendship with some very wonderful young lady because of her physical type.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

depends on the reason. There's another thread about dressing nicely for church. If you do it for God's benefit, or a spouse, or something proffesional, I would say yes. But, on the other hand, there are gals who don't wear make-up to glorify God. I would say if you do it to impress someone, don't. Otherwise, there should be a balance.(Take showers, but maybe don't do your hair)

I'm from Europe and I visit europe as often as i can.

I can tell you that trying to look good is AWESOME. It not only makes the community look good but it gives the people a sense of self eastem. I visited Bulgaria, and though a lot of it is still old-school (somwhat old run-down areas) the people there are none the less Attractive, and dress attractive.

I've never seen Girls being Hit on over there like over here in the US. Over here in America, it's like Guys have NEVER seen a pretty girl. So when they do see one, they make sure to let her know (through harrassiment, and verbally nasty phrases).

While in Europe, everyone's just sort of... "Yea, we dress good, and we all know it. It feels good to feel good about yourself."

I dunno, I really like Europe, it's almost like Hollywood without all the Fake People. Just because everyone's face doens't look perfect doesn' mean they aren't going to try and Dress Attractive. And that's what really lightens up the place and gives it style. The NEwer Areas of Bulgaria are insanely beautiful, along with the people that dress beautiful, it amounts to a very very attractive community.

<<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>><<>>
Shouldn't we be happy with the bodies that God so beautifully created for us
(maybe I should take my own advice)
Shouldn't we celebrate the masterpeice that is "humanity"
The sinful part comes in when we celebrate ourselves over God.

Im surprised that this thread is still going! I thought for sure it would have died by now. Oh well. I think I may join back in this discussion for a while.. :thumb:

All right!!

So. I agree with Volt that trying to look nice isnt a bad thing. However, I do think that some take it to an extreme sometimes. I think spending hours upon hours trying to pick out what to wear ot doing your make-up is kind of stupid.

I know my little sister used to spend an hour getting just doing her hair and make-up before going somewhere, that in my opinion is an extreme. I however do spend time to brush my hair back in a quick ponytail now and then, and even braid or curl it when I am EXTREMLY bored. Now if thats over obsessing thatn I think we are all in whole lot of trouble.

In my opinion I think its okay to look nice, but not when it becomes an obsession or all that you are thinking about because then it becomes an idol. If you think that having an idol is okay you have some serious issues... :shake:

AND FOT MYOTI ::::

I am so sorry that stuff like that happens to you. I have seen that kind of thinkg happen alot out at our school and it disgusts me.

Well speaking of different culture's views on 'beauty' after spending several weeks in Nicarahua in the past, I must say that there is quite a difference in standards. Now not always, there's still a fair share of, shall we say, "beauty queens" *cough cough* but in general, the standards are a bit different. I'm sure it's the same way in other country's too.

Oh and Myoti, I feel you. I may just be 14 but I've had my fair share of experiences like that. << >> Ok maybe not THAT many...but I know what you m,ean. And what really ticks me off as well is guys who think they're somehow 'better' than girls and that ghirls are just for their own pleasure, that they're just 'a little less than human' That sickens me.

And I have spoken.
