Requiem Aeternum

A metal name if I ever heard one. And Latin is the best language for metal. Let's all face facts on this: Latin is hardcore. Muahahaha.

Life Through Death...I think that'd be a cool name for a hardcore band.

I would name my band "Roses Bleed"
“The best kind of friend is the kind you can sit on a porch and swing with, never say a word, and then walk away feeling like it was the best conversation you've ever had.â€

True Grit.

It's a John Wayne movie. I think it sounds cool.
"Relax, turn around, and take my hand." Tool
"Heir Kommt Die Sonne." Rammestein
"Now the world is gone, I'm just one. Oh please God help me." Metallica
"Are You Ready?!?" KoRn
"All and all your just another brick in the wall." Pink Floyd.
The downfall of society will be society itself.
Rap is the malignant tumor of the music industry.

I've actually been collecting potential band names for quite a while now. Most of 'em are pretty stupid, but I still think they're interesting. Most (okay, all) of them have no meaning outside of the fact that they sound memorable. A brief sellection of my pile of names would include...

Stereocats
Cosmic Brownie
The Hoboken Chicken Emergency
Sputnik Hombres
Coyote Rock
The Joyriders
Dr. Explodo's Closet
Olivia Stopwatch
Sloboian Snapdagon
Covington Cross
Hannibal & The Elephants

...and those are the less absurd ones. Seriously, though, if I started a band today, I'd call it either The Rube Goldberg Device or Medical Mechanica.
