Postby c-girl » Tue Mar 08, 2005 5:55 pm

Mt. St. Helens just blew again. If you live in Washington or Oregon, they're talking about it on the news! >^^<;; just thought I'd tell.... It's really awesome to see all of the pictures of the smoke rising from the mountain. It looks so pretty.
I live to love and love to live! >^.^<

Haha... I just saw this on the news two seconds ago. It looks really cool, and it seems that it was very small, and was accampanied by a 2.0 earthquake.

And this time, I had nothing to do with it!

Does anyone know if they showing it on any other news channel across the US?

It finally blew, huh? I sure hope no one was hurt or that not too many people were killed.

mechana2015: Does that answer your question?

K. Ayato: Perfectly.

It was nothing big. I can see Mt. St. Helens from my room. It just let off some ash and steam.

LOL, when I saw the title I was really worried! I'm scared to death of volcanes... maybe its because I don't live near any. lol Anyway, glad everything's okay.

WOW. Wish I could see it! Here's hoping it doesn't get worse and praise God no one was hurt! ^_^ Sounds like an INCREDIBLE view though!

Mt. Angel actually sits on one of the vents for Mt. Hood, though it is quite dormant.

I didn't get any pictures, and anything online would be better than what I could get.

Apparently you could see it really well from where I live (Yakima) but somehow I didn't notice it.

I'm old enough to remember the last time Mount St. Helens blew. They say this time if it does it won't be as bad. Then the ash came as far as where we now live in
eastern Washington and even Idaho. For months afterwards you could buy bags of
Mount St. Helens ash.
btw:We were living north of Seattle,in Mountlake Terrace,Washington back then and so all of the ash missed us pretty much. The sad part was that there was this old
man named Harry Truman(yep that was his name)who refused to leave his lodge on the mountainside and subsequently was one of the few people to actually die in the '80 explosion.

I think it would be really cool if Mt. Hood erupted. It is very Mt. Doom looking, all it needs is some fire.
