After spending close to what, almost a month together in real life, I can say that Shatterheart, Gypsy, Lightbringer and Zilch were all fairly like their online selves. Oh there was some things that were missing online, don't get me wrong, but there were no "OH MY GOSH SHATTERHEART LOVES GLITTER!" or anything. Just the friends I grew to love as I had always known them. :glomp:
As for me...well I think the aforementioned list would peg me as far, far less composed in real life (always tripping or running into things...etc.)
As for Shatterheart, I could tell you what he's REALLY like, but that would take away all my fun. And he'd kill me for it, quoting some classic B grade horror. O_o

I tend to be more laid back offline...whereas online I ramble on more and then to be more cerebrial and attempt to deconstruct everything down into their most basic components.
But pretty much for the most part, what you get is what you get, online or not.

To be honest I don't know how people perceive me...
Also, to be honest I dont' think people really have a good idea of who I am, because I only give the people of CAA half of who I really am. People may know me best from the prayer room.... I tend to be the one to always replies to people's prayer request and try to give some helpful advice, even if's it may not be that helpful. I tend to be a serious caring person. On CAA I fear that people will not understand my true self, thus I don't really revail myself. It seems like everytime I try being myself, another member makes a personal attack at me for my thoughts. So, that for the most part is the reason I give the people here at CAA only half of who I am.
The other side of me, in the real world tends to act really goofy. I try too hard to make people laugh and fit in, well because most of my life I grew up as the "dork" of the school who everyone thought had cancer because of my well of some other issues. Anyways when I hit 10th grade I did a lot of sports. ALthough I always excelled in sports that never changed my image. I was not only a dork, I was an athletic dork. How I think of myself is a kind hearted person that tries to cheer people up when they are down. Although most of the time I never really know the words to say until after the event. I'm actually a very deep thinker.
ALso, people I've known from CAA I've also hid half of my trueself because I feared y'all wouldn't like me for who I really was... Even if you think you know me, you really only know 1/2 of me. I think there's only been one person that knows the real me, and this members lives in austin. So to everyone else I'm sorry.
So to sum up my personality, I'm a goofy caring person. though many may not be able to tell because I tend to be very quiet around people I don't know.
Also, in real life I'm a very cheerful person.
Though to be honest, unlike some random members, I don't think I really have much of an impact in the community. Besided of my awkward username, I don't think many take interest or notice; much like in real life. I'm more like another face in the crowd. So that's a little more insight of who I am...

Personally, I try not to make impressions of people based on their actions online. Just as the written word is a very different medium than the spoken, actions online are very different from actions in real life. Of course, there are certainly some impressions I get regardless.

I wouldn't presume to really know you from only what you write here, but I think I would disagree with your statement. Those bits of "helpful advice" often really are helpful (at least I have approved of what I have seen). When you help people in times that are difficult for them (as prayer request threads often relate to) you connect with them on a much more personal level than simply discussing anime. Were a poll to be taken, I think more people would remember and appreciate you than you think.
Aside, I find your username far easier to remember than many; it's logically pronouncable and has no numbers in it.

My impression of you is that you are someone who is extremely careful and conscientious about what he watches. Although there are some decisions you have made that I would not agree with, in general I think it is admirable that you have a high standard for what you are willing to see and you don't compromise it.

Actually, I have found that your posts are generally thoughtful and worthwhile--from what I have seen, at least.
My impression of you is that you are someone who is extremely careful and conscientious about what he watches. Kokoro Daisuke: Sweet, amazingly cheerful, positive, just the right mix of down-to-earth-ness and innocent fantasy, extremely talkative when it comes to topics like anime or cosplay or someone named Kantaro ^_~
HoS: deceptively calm most of the time, but still wonderfully passionate about the things she loves, a sweet artist, and polite even in less than agreeable situations (something I admire very much.)
