Anime Suggestions for a desperate teen

I really enjoyed WHR and I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. As long as their is no nudity and not a lot of sexual content it should be fine. :?:

Giant Robo. No one expected me to suggest that.

It's good, even if you don't like mech anime. Because it isn't a mech anime. It's a drama. Read my review.

Oh! I wanna see that one!

On topic, give Last Exile a spin. Nudity free and very little on the innuendos. To get a complete review, just browse through our review section at the top of the page. There's a review for Last Exile and many more!
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

There's a lot~!

All Gundam series:
If you don't mind some of the characters getting real anal sometimes, they're good series.

Naruto:
I LOVE this anime. All the action, comedy...and even a little romance! It's a great anime!

One Piece:
Ah, great anime as well. Funny characters and I love the unique style that One Piece has amongst all the other animes...^.^

Last Exile:
It may seem like an anime centered around flying vanships and racing, but its acctually way more than that. Great graphics, and wonderful storyline and characters.

more later~!

Escaflowne. No nudity and they is not alot of sexual content in it.

Wolf Rain would be one too. Its a bit blood, but nothing really bad.

Haibane Renmei. Spiritual, clean, no sexuality, no nudity (in that sense, there's a portion of the opening credits (ep.2-13) that I find to be not offensive, your mileage may vary), very deep anime.

Azumanga Daioh. Clean, funny.

Saiyuki:
A bit of violence, but as long as you can handle some swear words, it's pretty good~!

Chrno Crusade:
A little violence, not as graphic or violent as WHR, so I think it'll be fine. Great anime!

Jubei-chan: sort of nude outline magical girl tranformation. No sex. Review available.
Irresponsible Captain Tylor: No nudity. Some fanservice. One questionable scene that doesn't actually have sex, but you shoud probably know about it before hand. All is covered in the review. The OVA has similar content, but also a very brief scene of a nude women in suspended animation (under a second probably)
All of Rurouni Kenshin/Samurai X is pretty clean.
Macross/Robotech are pretty clean as well.

^ yup!

I second the mention of Wolf's Rain as well, if you don't mind minor language.

also Big O, Kikaider, Cyborg 009, um...*tries to think* I'm dying to see Blue Gender again b/c i missed alot, but I can't promise it's clear of stuff.

I second that. Detective Conan (Case Closed) is awesome.

Metropolis is really, really good. A short scene with the main female lacking clothing, but she's covered by light (and a robot), so nothing too bad.

Giant Robo contains a female character in a very short skirt, but there's no fanservice. It also happens to be the greatest anime ever. Yes. I mean that.

Impact, you seriously need to get out more. You've plugged Giant Robo more than you need to and we know you really enjoy it, but please calm down! (lol)

My recommendations are:
Metropolis (mild violence, very minor language), Spirited Away (bit of violence, supernatural themes), Noir (medium violence, but no blood) and Last Exile (mild violence, very minor language, very minor innuendo).

Its kinda hard to find an anime i can sit down and watch, most of the time i just get bored with alot of animes cause everything from japan is intend to focus on plot and story with only about 2 mins of action for every half hour. But the story and plot for each episode of trigun and cowboy bebop hold up alot better than most, at least for me!!!

I've seen plenty, and I can find none that are as good. Besides, I plugged it because this person wanted a suggestion.

OTHER SUGGESTIONS:
The Big O
Speed Racer
Casshan: Robot Hunter
Sonic The Movie (If you liked the games)
Japanese Sonic X (Starting from episode 27)
Astroboy
Black Lion(So bad it's funny)
Shin Getter Robo(Again, so bad that it's funny. And by the same guy as Black Lion)
Mobile Fighter G Gundam
Gundam Wing
Gundam 0080
Now And Then, Here And There(If you can take the mature subject matter)

What have you been watching? There are a lot of wild comedies out there as well with much more action than dialogue

That's what I love about anime and manga, more of it focuses on plot and story than action unlike the majority of Western cartoons. It does after all claim all age audiences.

True. I like to use Cowboy Bebop to introduce (older) viewers to anime. Most of the viewers have walked away very impressed by the storytelling.
