Well, I like not having to turn off ZoneAlarm to view the thumbs like I do at CAA for some reason. BTW, I got a message that you're over the data limit (whatever that means)

That means that my geocities hosted site has gone over the alloted amount of bandwidth for this hour. Theoretically, I am alloted more after a period of time (I believe it is one hour). Hopefully this won't happen too often (though this comic is a larger one, so that is likely).

This is not an update.

I must apologize for the delay. Though I have finished the eighth strip (equal in size to #7, starring Lightbringer) my floppy drive decided to die on me in an extreme way. When I will be able to upload this file, or any others, is quite uncertain.

:waah!: No update :waah!:

The past couple of years have cultivated a profound distaste (dare I say hatred) of floppies. Have you looked at usb key drives?

I use them whenever I can. However, my computer is an incredible patch-job (some parts of it are from computers 15+ years old) and doesn't support usb at all. As I don't have a cd burner, that leaves me with only one real option.

Man I feel for you. Thats harsh. All of our desktops are cobled together from parts my dad has brought home combined with parts we have bought. They are only reletevly stable and give me grief on a regular basis.

How about ZIP drives? You can get older zip drives that run off of printer serial ports.

In the past there have been flukes when I can transfer files, and that is what I am banking on at the moment. I have the next two and a half complete, so I'll take them all at once and avoid this for at least a few weeks.

ive you seen some of my random "webcomic/flukes" they were utterly random and pointless

on another note. I am feeling motivated to start a project on my own

heres a little silly promo or... whatever they're called. And ive thought of a decent plot for it. Sorry it's a jpeg though. It won't be like that later on

That is good to hear, because this comic went through numerous revisions, none of which struck me as completely right. In any case, as I said earlier the next comic is done; I will most likely upload it tomorrow or on Monday.

Considering how little responded to your update I'm surprised you're going to bother to upload it, but then again considering how easily things in the General forum moves on its easy to see how a reply post could get lost in the shuffle.

That is possible, though I am more inclined to believe that no one truly cares. However, the newest comic has roughly the number of hits as the others, so I presume that someone at least is looking at it. But I would upload it even if only two people responded.

Good philosophy. Art is only great as long as there is an audience, no matter how small.

Oh, love da gangsta talk. Very nice. :thumb:
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Yes. I was doing just fine until "Not in this hood, my hizzle". Laughed out loud.

The action parts are kind of hard figure out, though. That may just be my untrained eye.

I am glad that it actually worked]The action parts are kind of hard figure out, though. That may just be my untrained eye.[/quote]

Do you refer to this comic alone, or all of them? If this one, I agree; that was part of why I disliked it, and I actually changed my mind midway through creating it (which is visible, if you're paying close attention). If all of them, I hope it is merely your eye. Using panels to get across movement is a difficult task that requires making readers fill in the missing action properly.

That having been said, I intend to update tomorrow. This one isn't nearly as important as #9 will be, however.
