(sorry, all you squemish peeps out there, cracking body parts is a bad habit)

Hi, all members, admins, n00bs, and other suchlikes. I'm checking back in(for what...the third time?). It's been quite the hassle, what with juggling school, homework, bass playing, video gaming, and having to use my parent's computer. But, anyway, I'll try to post regularly again.

when the poor girl has time to slow down and relax...

Relaxation is one of those childhood myths they tell you so you make it to adulthood. By then it's too late to pull out (or you're too busy to do so).

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Oh, I'm back to my semi-relaxed schedule. Your sprite site should be up soon ... after I get done writing the kickboxing one.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

He beat me in Soul Caliber 2 when I was using my best character. So I broke all of his little gaming fingers. They've healed up quite nicely.

Indeed, Shatterheart. Indeed.

Obviously you didn't do it right then. If you had broken his fingers properly so that they couldn't heal, we wouldn't be in this mess, would we? ;)

Of course, we'd have to do something about his tongue also.

Sorry I can't be on as much as I'd like, I don't own an Xbox. But I also don't get rusty when it comes to playing games, so I'll be fresh for our next clan match...hopefully with a headset.

Thanks for all you people's greetings!
