You may be a CAA Addict if....

Talk about anything in here.

. . . Well, now that you mention it.

Just kidding.

1) Hmm, you're a CAA addict if you quote other members in conversation with friends (I'm guilty!)

2) You're a CAA addict if you have nightmares about getting the error message.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. You may be a CAA Adict (or rather, CAA Regular) if you've had to mop up the contents of Mangafanatic's skull at least once.

You may be a CAA addict if checking out the forums is the first thing you do in the mornings and the last thing you do before turning in for the night.

You might be a CAA addict if you cosplay as the mods or other members.

You might be a CAA addict if all your emails consist of PM notices and Thread Updates.

You think that other members that have had their avatars for a really long time actually look like their avs.

You Know you are a CAA Maniac of Doom if the CAA christmas cardis on your most played list in iTunes. (I do not fit that definition)

You Know you are a CAA Adict if you discuss with your friends the best way to maneuver the site (going straight to your user CP vs. using get new(I am guilty of that one))

Blowing up avatars, printing them out, and wearing them as masks. Then walking around saying generic things like

Gypsy> I like DDR!
Shatterheart> Blood! Gore! Chainsaws!
Mangafanatic> Ask me about furuba reviews!
Ashley> Tanemura sensei rocks! Texas rocks! Ya'll!

Maybe we ought to have a contest. XD

It means Mangafanatic, of course (or a city in Japan after which an Azumanga Daioo character is named, your choice).

See, it's at moments like this that I wish I were the fabled "development". Then, I could log in and say how cool "Mangafanatic" is and assure you that the the term Osaka is alot more interesting when applied to "Mangafanatic."

But since I can't, I'll just sit here and say "Yeah, what Shooby said!" Cause---um-- that's a really intelligent response. :eyeroll:

OT: I still prefer MF.

And as for cosplaying mods...I suppose it isn't too hard for me to grow my hair out, wear a kilt and Raiders Jersey (complete with black face make up and spiked shoulder pads) while wielding a chainsaw.

Then I think I could pull off a convincing (if not exaggerated) Shatterheart.

As for playing Shoo, I'd probably need a stethoscope, some white doctor's clothes, a very conspicuous Japanese-English dictionary protruding from my pocket, and some glasses.

Maybe I wouldn't look anything like Shoo, but I might be able to convince a few that I'm as smart as he is. Also, girls can't resist the stethoscope...

EDIT: You might be a CAA Addict if you spend valuable study time contemplating the age old question of "How to Cosplay a Mod."

Also, I thought of a way that I could play Old Phil. Simple. I'd wear a sandwich board with the, "There seems to have been a slight problem with the database" message.

Actually, I do have a foreign language dictionary in my pocket, but it's English<->Spanish porque tengo más pacientes que solamente hablan español que tengo pacientes que solamente hablen japones. Por eso, hay algunas palabras especificas medicales que a veces me olvido  y necesito encontrarlas.

You could cosplay oldphil with a brown baseball cap saying "Aliens Ruined My Backyard" and a stringy beard. :)
