Talk about anything in here.

You may be a CAA Addict if....

Postby Zarn Ishtare » Tue Feb 01, 2005 6:41 pm

YOU MIGHT BE A CAA ADDICT IF....

1. You consider Ingemar a Classic Author, and Days of Our Lives a Classic Novel.
2. You Celebrate CAA Founding day, Ashley Clone Wednesday, and Moderator Apreciation day as holidays, and wonder why no one else does.
3. You've ever seriously considered (or in some peoples case, have) Proposing to Ashley, Gypsy, or Straylight(hey, I know a few straylight groupies have his posters on the wall) and written a long, flowery speech and or planned the wedding.
4. You've EVER Thought about Ashley as a possible canidate for president, or tried to start a CAA goverment Party.
5. You've ever thought of Shatterheart and Ashley as a good, if impossible, couple.
6. You wonder why Shatterheart likes Raw meat...and when someone tells you, you don't scream and run in horror.
7. You have an insane love of the word OSAKA, and repeat it and giggle to yourself.
8. You hated J-Rock till you met Inky, then started loving it.
9. You've ever thought of Gypsy and Shoor as the ultimate power couple.
10. You've ever tried to make Ingemar a saint in the catholic church, then realized that he has to be dead before that can happen.

AND FINALLY, YOUR A CAA ADDICT IF YOUR READING THIS TOPIC WHEN YOU SHOULD BE:
A. SLEEPING
B. EATING
C. BREATHING.
With your doubt, all is comfort
We are all as we appear
No more questions left unanswered
No more wonder, no more fear
Nothing is beauty, nothing's feeling
Blood where there once was a soul
So I ask you, prove yourself
Make me believe that you are whole

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. We of all people should write with all our hearts, as if writing for the Lord and not for men.

You know you're an addict when:

You make a goof off topic thread in the general section to get your post count up. ^__^

Oh yes, and Shihi is the J-rock addict, and I should be doing both A and C - good night *inhales*

YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Guilty of doing A for the past week, and I'm a newbie. . .

Which is why I don't qualify for the other qualifictations. . .

I guess I could be doing homework. . .

This forum's turning me into a slacker. . .

And I love it!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am unique, just like everyone else.

Hmmm... well... I can tell you that Days of Our Lives is neither a novel nor something I created (nor something I for which I will take credit)
Zarn Ishtare wrote: 2. You Celebrate CAA Founding day, Ashley Clone Wednesday, and Moderator Apreciation day as holidays, and wonder why no one else does.

Though *I* was the one who started the Ashley Clone craze (the Wednesday part was a later development, I think, of TNChloe's.

v_v.
Well, I was also the one that invented that crazy "Straylight is my favourite member" thread. Notice that the fourth word of the clause in quotation is in the proper English spelling.
Zarn Ishtare wrote: 4. You've EVER Thought about Ashley as a possible canidate for president, or tried to start a CAA goverment Party.

I would only support such a thing as long as they promised not to expand the federal government. With a British webmaster on the helm, I don't think that's likely [/Libertarian mode off]*dodges projectiles*

Oh come on, even a blind deaf puppy could see this. And it's not as impossible as you think....
Zarn Ishtare wrote: 6. You wonder why Shatterheart likes Raw meat...and when someone tells you, you don't scream and run in horror.

Very little makes me scream and run in horror.
Zarn Ishtare wrote: 7. You have an insane love of the word OSAKA, and repeat it and giggle to yourself.

My insane love is for the word/name SABURO, and I repeatedly uttered it laughingly, at the expense of poor old Hidetora.
Zarn Ishtare wrote: 8. You hated J-Rock till you met Inky, then started loving it.

I still find it distasteful, though to be fair, Inkhana had nothing to do with it.
Zarn Ishtare wrote: 9. You've ever thought of Gypsy and Shoor as the ultimate power couple.

Who says I'm not dead already? I have a lab report due on Thursday (but I got a lot done today, YESSSSS!) Furthermore, I'm not a Catholic, despite my previous handle, "St. Peter." Even furthermore, theologically, the Catholic Church believes all Christians dead or alive are indeed saints. I believe the Orthodox Church shares this view.

British spelling! It burns! IT BUUUUUUURNS!

DISCLAIMER: Cap'n Crack's irrational hatred of British spelling is the result of deep-rooted psychological trauma inflicted with specially modified ropes of hickory-smoked sausage and does not reflect any animosity towards the nation of Great Britain nor the use of British spelling by actual Britons.

Or, you type it as " 'saka" with an apostrophe because "Osaka" is too long even though all this saves you is one trip to the shift key. It sure is fun to say, though. 'Saka! 'Saka...'Saka Khan! Heheh, oops! Oh, speaking of which, you know you're a CAA addict when you refer to making a joke and then lamenting that no one will pick up on your obscure pop culture reference as "pulling a kaemmerite."

LOL nice list Zarn! (I haven't seen you around for a while now ^_^)

You're a CAA addict if:

1) http://www.christiananime.net is the default page of your browser
2) you have nothing left to do if CAA is down <.< >.>
3) you get super frustrated with error signs while cruising around in CAA
4) you know more about CAA members than your offline friends or family members
5) you read the Annual CAA Tournament thread/Days in the Life and get every SINGLE joke/reference (or maybe you've been on CAA long enough teehee)

My mental picture of this in movie form:

Gypsy stands amidst a crumbling city, walls tumbling all around, the floor weakening beneath feet.

Poor little CAA addict in the middle of the room: Trolls, Gypsy, Masteress of the Universe, HELP!

Gypsy, donning her Iria super slick outfit and a giant bazooka slung over her shoulder: BLAST YOU TROLLS! I shall fight you with my last brea..........

Ah well, something like that. ^__^;;

CAA'rs are hush, murmurings all around: What happened? Did she make it? For the love of all that is a fuzzy... Gypsy, did you get the troll?

Me: (-__-)\ oy vey, CAA is down again

ANOTHER THING I INSPIRED! "Masteress of the Universe" Gypsy is a direct allusion to DITLOCAA (not "Days of Our Lives", as Zarn says -_- ). However, the original version is something like Unquestioned Lady and Master of the Universe.

Or something like that.

"You may be a CAA Addict if you're growing weary of Ingemar frequently pointing our faulty allusions to himself or his works."
