How does your room look like??

Talk about anything in here.

Postby Spirit_Wolf8356 » Sat Aug 28, 2004 8:15 pm

My room is a royal wreck. ^_^ But, before you even get to my room, you must see my door, since my door is always closed. It has the Ph34r t3h cute ones Megatokyo poster on it. Now you get to see my mess. (Figuratively anyway. ) Your floor is the biggest shelf in your room. If I ever completely cleaned my room, I'd never be able to find anything. There is a method to my madness. My bird hangs right beside my door over top of a three drawer storage thing. Beside that is the dresser that is now mine, but used to be my mom's when she was my age. It's got loads of stuff on it, including three or four little cedar boxes on it and a horse statue that my parents' got as a wedding gift, if I recall correctly. It's got a mirror attached to it too. Above the mirror is a horse picture, a Trigun poster with Vash and Wolfwood, and a Fruits Basket poster. And then on the wall space that's left, I've got a pic of my softball team and another horse picture. There's a small space between my dresser and my TV stand /desk that my PS2 resides in. Now we have a corner. Oooooo. Then we have my window, TV, desk, stereo, and head of my bed. On that wall is a giganto huge Legolas poster and a Full Metal Alchemist poster. Another corner, cuz my room does have four after all. We then have the actual length of my bed, which, again, was my mom's. (I have a lot of her stuff. O.o) At the foot of my bed, there's a big Odie stuffed animal that I won in Ocean City this year. Then my bookshelf, which has more junk than books, although my manga do have a nice little spot there. As do my softball trophies (10 years worth or so, although some years I got two trophies) and my model horses. (If you didn't notice before now, I have a thing for horses.) On the wall itself is a Sesshoumaru wallscroll and a Knives wallscroll. There's a shelf with 2 of my stereo speakers on it, and a few other little knick knacks. (My stereo by the way, is very spiffy. 5 CD changer and four speakers. Ah the loveliness.) There's another horse picture, and a name thing I bought. It has my name on it, and a few things that my name shows about my personality. ^_^ I thought it was cute, so I bought it. Then we come to another corner. My closet...I'm afraid to go in there. It's like underneath of my bed. There's things living under there that eat objects that get too close. Then in the last wall space, I have my Trigun poster and my Kenshin wallscroll. And the last corner. I hope you've enjoyed your tour.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

Its blue with black ork skulls on it (from when i was into warhammer, it looks wicked thou). I love posters, I have: Kurt Cobain, AFI, Guns 'N Roses, Gogo Yubari from Kill Bill, Matrix, X-men (the film), a big black and white Parental Advisory (from when I was a sad, sad non christian and thought it was kool to swear...but it looks kool and reminds me of the old days), LOTR (of course), Akira and a couple of South Park pics. I want to get a Mad Capsule Markets poster.

I have a book case with some books I hardly ever read in it (eg Harry Potter, LOTR and other novels). I have 8 'How to draw Anime and Manga books', some horror manga (of which there is now less of cuz god told me to get rid of some, saddly im really into horror stuff in general) and loads of comics and magazines (including old Sonic the Comics, Kerrang, Judge Dread (who totally rules), 2000AD and others).

Theres my collection of various collectables at the back of the room, including final fantasy 8 figures (poor game, great figures), weapons (knives, bullets, bayonettes, a knuckle duster and a blackjack, now i can sleep safely at night :D) and other stuff.

Then I have my consols, Playstation2, Gamecube and Megadrive (retro is kool, Xbox is not). And finally my cd collection, almost 30 albums, not nearly enough (i wish i had 200 *crys*).

Thats it, I don't know why I'm telling you all this...but I am...so there...

My room is really very boring.
Since we rent, I'm not allowed to paint on anything...:(
I don't have any posters except for a Sonic poster I tore out of a gaming magazine...and I have two calendars hanging on the wall. One is a wolf calendar for 2005, and another is my turtle calendar. My room is oddly shaped...it has three windows shaped like an octagon and one window that looks out over the forest/jungle by my bed...on the right side of the windows is a bookshelf with all of my manga/books on it along with various trophies, pictures, etc...there's a display shelf attatched to it on which I keep my grandma's old jewelry box, a candle, and some other stuff I can't remember...on the top are a bunch of dolls my grandma got me, some birthday cards and some stuff I made like a ceramic turtle that looks really wierd...next to that is my stuffed animal pile. I have turtles, rabbits, bears, otters, rhinos, you name it...and some wierd stuff too. Then on the left I have my keyboard, on top of which sit some ceramic turtles that I bought...I want to buy some wolves, too but I'm too stingy. My keyboard is dusty so it looks like I never play it even though I pay every day for hours...
Yup, then there's my closet of doom...and my bed with canvas and paints stuffed under it along with a million sketches and poems and songs that even I don't want to read. :P
And some memories...letters from family, pictures, t-shirts that I loved, crafts that I made when I was little...and somewhere under the pile there might just be a Superbook tape...^^ (yeah, I watched Superbook okay! But that was when I was five or six...my mom taped it before I was born and there was nothing to watch so there! We didn't have cable or anything.)
Yup...that's pretty much my room.

Well, the walls are white. Shockingly we don't have any anime posters on our walls. Just animals and stuff.

I have junk around the flours and stuff and I have three gerbil cages in there. We both have night stands and there is a window with a wonderful veiw of the moutians.

How was that Yojimbo!?

Stars, moons, fantasy/romance posters, anime wallscrolls (two trigun ones) and a poster (di.gi.charact), LotR posters (I want the Middle Earth map wall scroll), random toys, books everywhere (for classes and for fun), and in one corner my princesses of the world dolls. And my violin's in one corner with a hymn book and my bible on it.

In short, my room looks like that of someone who's somewhere between growing up and Never Never Land. I need to get a posterboard because I wanted to paint Num. 6:24-26 on it and hang it on my door.

Yeah, I'll not be taking a pic of my room. It's messy right now. Anyway. My room is blue...what you can see of the walls, anyway, and I have the UGLIEST shag carpet... Um, ok. Clockwise from door: Cabinet with Cat collection, bed, bookshelf w/manga, how to draw books and asian decor like teaset, etc. above shelf is a rack with purses. Bins of art supplies at foot of bed. ok. next is my large bamboo shelving unit, with more books, Stero, Cd's, stuffed animals, than dresser with tv, lamp, and media rack. Computer/drawing desk next to that. More anime related merch. Closet, and finally my vaniety.
On my walls I have the following posters: Comic party (2 different ones) Supergals, 5 star stories, Please Teacher (2), DN angel, Banner of the Stars, Happy lesson (5), Anime Collages (4), Full Metal Panic (9), King of Bandit Jing, Technolyze, AN Entertainment, Sugar a snow fairy, Ai Yori Aoshi, Fushigi Yugi, Bushilord, Alien9, Silent Mobius (2), Azu Manga Daioh, Rune Solider, Kiddy Grade, Wedding Peach, Angelic Layer, Peacemaker Kurogune, Pretear, Ranma, Rahxephon, FLCL, Inuyasha, Samuari Deeper Kyo, Risky Safety, Galazy Angel pencil boards (2), and a ROD TV Pencil Board. I also have 2 Kaleido Star Posters, but I don't have them up yet... Now you know why I have problems seeing the orginal color of my walls....

...its bad...
Our Generation is in a spiritual warfare between Believers and Satan.

Pro-Life Youth Pledge

We are a loud and determined voice for Truth and Life in this culture of death. We stand on the truth of Jesus Christ whom all of our strength comes from. We stand for the protection of all human life from conception (fertilization) until natural death, with no exceptions, no compromise, and no apologies. We are fed up with the lies that MTV, Planned Parenthood and our government are pushing down our throats. We will no longer sit silently by as our generation is being systematically slaughtered through surgical and chemical abortion. This is OUR generation, these are OUR brothers and sisters and we commit to fighting for their lives. You will not silence our message, you will not mock our God, and you will stop killing our generation!

Mah room..finally

Postby mechana2015 » Wed Feb 02, 2005 1:35 pm

Putting my digicam to good use.

first one is where all the posting happens... my desk. my com, assorted mech models, kenshin statues, drawing dummy, pens and an anime in abox set that I borrowed from one of my friends. Bible on the keyboard tray as well as a book for one of my classes are visible. I'm looking at this thread on the computer actually.

Next one is a detail of the mechs on one side... with my favorite fighters from kenshin as well. Pencil box and a good view of my I-pod in this one too.

My bookshelf is next, rife with manga (love hina is in a box under my bed...its too long to just have on the shelf) and drawing books. PS2 here too.

Wall shot..this is a stitched together shot of my bulletin board with 2 calenders... dont ask why. Map of mammoth mountain, drawings I did, and adobe and anime stuff.

I'm having the impulse to straighten up your shelves, mechana. ^^ Nah, just kidding. Your place of abode looks very comfortable.

Maybe I should post pictures of my room (because the rest of the apartment is boring, but don't tell Spades  )

Yes, very tasty. What speed G4?

My poor 1400+G3/333 is getting a bit long in the tooth as my laptop, but it's pretty tough to kill and I figure I can still get a couple more useful years out of it before I have to break down and buy a new one.

Let's see... well my bedroom is actually just the downstairs living room. ^_^ Got a porch just in case I need coffee at say 3 am and I want to leave without getting caught, that's very handy. Then I've got my own bathroom, a tv and my playstation too. A bunk bed in case I want guests over and a recliner too. Um... my room's kinda dark, very cold, oh and I got an air hockey table down there too. ^_^ So yeah, if I had a fridge and a door, I'd be set for life. :)

I live in a 1bedroom condo that I rent from relatives. The front room is decorated in a way acceptable to normal ( ;) ) people. The bedroom has two Negima posters (imported from Japan), a Urusei yatsura poster, an Azumi poster, a Puffy AmiYumi poster and a Sailor Moon S wall scroll. I have a 6' tall DVD shelf and a computer desk. Next time I have more decoration money, I plan to look for a Excel Saga wall scroll and maybe import some more JP artwork by Ken Akamatsu.
