I need help!!

Postby RefractedAhav » Sun Oct 05, 2003 6:08 pm

Well I don't really have time to post all my prayer request, so I wiill summerize them the best I can for now.

#1 My walk with God isn't all that great right now nad I need hekp to break down what ever the barracades between us (God and I) are.

#2 My Grandmother is in the hospital right now. I would just like some one to pray for her.

#3 This kinda goes with #1. Well my prayer life is exactly what you would call healthy. Please pray that God will help me improve that and that my desire to spend time with Him will grow.

I'll post more details later.

I want to thank ya'll for your suport. :) I really need it. I've been trying to make some changes in my life including the condition of my relationship with God. I belive that the biggest problem I have is pride. The reson why I belive this is because it is next to imposible for me to let others know of my problems (ecspecialy those close to me). At the same time I occasonaly suffer from a lack of self-conidence and a feeling of self-worth. This does not hit me as hard or as often as it use to, but it is still there.

Another sign of trouble has to do with self-controll. One problem that has arrised from a lack of self-controll is that I am often quick to anger.(usally only with those closest to me) I also have trouble trying to drive impure thoughts from my mind. :red: Some of the time nothing seems to trigger them, while others some image stumbled upon sets them off. The moment I see any offensive pictures, I try my hardest to get rid of it or to move away from it, but in the breif second that my eyes fell apon it the thoughts begin. I want them to stop, they don't hapen all the time, but when they do I feel terrable. :sniffle:

About my grandmother, she started having trouble breathing afew days a go so we took her to the hospital. She is doing better, but she is still weezing pretty heavly.

Overall I just need some one to pray that my desire to spend time with God stops fading and starts growing again. Also please pray for my grandma's health.
