How many forums do you check?

Postby Esoteric » Fri Jan 21, 2005 6:41 pm

I'm curious if anyone here keeps up with all the CAA forums. I certainly don't. There are only six forums I regularily check.

On average, how many forums do you guys keep up with?

Lessee...

General, Goof Off, Anime, Gaming, The Tavern...and every once in a while, the manga and movie forums.

So, 5-7 on a regular basis.

I follow the Main, Anime & Entertainment, Tech and Administration Subforums only. I try to avoid the Religion intensive parts as much as I can.

First I check if there are any new replies to posts I made. Then I check "forums". Then "Get New."

When I first joined I made a mistake in replying to a long dead thread,so I try to avoid that when I can.

Um, anime, manga, goof off, general, welcome area, gallery, prayer forum. That's the general routine.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Goof-Off, General, Miscellaneous Images (Trigun Pic Thread), Anime, Manga, In the Spotlight, Writing, Jam Session, The Tavern, Main Roleplay, and Out of Character. I will check a different forum if something catches my eye.

I usually just hit the "get new" button. Sometimes I don't even know what forum I'm posting in, like now for instance. *looks up* Aaaah, General I see.

I start at the bottom of the page and work up. I think it's just an old habit that I carried over from when the login area used to be at the bottom of the page long ago. *shrug*

Usually just the goof off and images because often I just have time to drop in then head-off to class or one of the ministries. In need to go into the prayer room more.
