(To The Tune of God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen)

The restroom door said Gentlemen
So he just walked inside
He took two steps and realized
He'd been taken for a ride
He heard high voices turned and found
The place was occupied

By two nuns, three old ladies, and a nurse
What could be worse?
Than two nuns, three old ladies and a nurse.

The restroom door said Gentlemen
It must have been a gag
As soon as he walked in there he ran into some old hag
She sprayed him with a can of mace
And snapped him with her bag.

He could tell this just wouldn't be his day
What could he say?
It just wasn't turning out to be his day.

The restroom door said Gentlemen
And wouldn't he like to find
The crummy little creep who had the nerve to switch the sign
Cause he's got two black eyes
And one high heel up his behind

Now he can't sit with comfort and joy
Boy, oh, boy
No, he'll never sit with comfort and joy.

I agree, that was a significant amount of effort well spent, termyt (presuming you didn't get it from somewhere).

Pete, meanwhile, traveled with the partridge in the pear tree.

*shrugs* It's a mystery... throughout the entire movie it never says. According to a few fan forums, the secret to unlocking this mystery lies within' saying the title while playing by the audio of the movie in reverse.

note: this is the best thread EVER. LoL. *highly amused*

answer: Oklahoma really took place in Oz. Most of the characters were lollypop kids, but you couldn't tell how short they were b/c all you ever see is waving wheat, wind sweeping down the plains, and very small horse-drawn surreys(with fringe!).

Few people know this, but they almost cast Judy Garland in the movie. They were going to have her click her riding shoes and say 'we're not in oklahoma anymore' Fortunately the producer came to his senses(and off of his hangover).

28. Pete travelled with his magical hamster Larry.
29.Oklahoma! took place in Oklahoma, Russia. Similar confusion has been noted in the case of the musical Moscow. Apparently, a record number of Muscovites turned out to see this movie that they thought was set in their city. Imagine their disappointment when they learned that it was actually set in Moscow, Pennsylvania. But these sad mixups seem to continue, with at least one every year. This year will see the release of the long anticipated movie Newcastle and English and American fans will both be disappointed if they think it takes place in a Newcastle. The Newcastle movie follows the trade of one of the players to Real Madrid and his longing for decent English food as he travels in foreign countries.
20. Bells ringing means head dinging as one can see in children's cartoons where a stunned charatcer has a little bell being rung about his or her head after an injury.

Repete. It's the source for the famous joke "Pete and Repete were in a boat. Pete fell out and who was left?"

They say it took place in a small village in France during the revolution. The "wind that comes storming down the plain" is actually a reference to revolutionaries sweeping out from the Bastille to displace the monarchy.

A stick suspended from the inside center of the bell, called a clapper, strikes the surface of the bell causing it to vibrate. The vibrations take on an audible sound known as the bell's ring.

Question 31

Who was The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance?

A man didn't shoot Liberty Valance, a woman did. He owed her twenty dollars and skipped to Mexico where he promptly became engaged to Henrietta Stewart. The woman who shot Liberty Valance, enraged over the twenty dollar loan and engagement was named Mary Anne Patawcki, later edited to MAP due to space constraints. This was then further changed to 'Matt' by a nearly blind copyist who refused to get another job, thus causing plentiful confusion all around and the title 'The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance'.

This story is mostly true, but the name is quite errenous. It was Eowyn, who really wanted a reason to say "I am no man!" again.

Fly Away Home was the continuing saga of the two famous mina birds Peter and Paul who suddenly discovered they had a third brother named Home. So whenever the song went "Fly away, Peter! Fly away, Paul!" then their brother Home felt rather left out.

(That's the best I could come up with... )

Fly Away Home was actually the original title of The Wizard of Oz Part II which focused what happened to Dorthy's house after it was picked up in the tornado.

The plot of Fly Away Home was to get people to go home for the holidays--on airplanes. They just wanted to promote a certain airline.
