Hey, can anyone please tell me a good anime with mechas?
I´m bored :shady: with the same old ones(Macross, Patlabor,...).

See ya! :thumb:

You ever seen Big O? It's a mecha/psychological/mystery hybrid anime, and one of my personal favorites.

The "Batmanish" animation and the fact that Roger's mech never loses so far makes it not very popular, nevertheless I think it's a great series so far (and Hajime Yadate of "Cowboy Bebop" fame was one of the writers/concept designers for it. . .-^.^-). If you can get it, see if you like it. :)

Thanks to doukeshi03 from otakuboards for the banner!

First, Ban all the Trolls. . . :bootout:

Hey, whatever happened to "thou shalt not steal" anyway?

Guess which bishounen is my avatar.

hmm... yeah you could watch Big O on Cartoon Network. Still the ones i like even more are Nadesico, RahXephon or Full Metal Panic. RahXephon and FMP are currently being released in English dub so you can prolly find them at any anime retailer i bet. Nadesico is older, but it is a funny series, you can surely find it at the "more specialty" anime locations. there is always neon genesis evangelion, but i really only enjoyed the series at first... it gets a little strange and "inappropriate" near the end.
Then there is always Gundam series', there are a few i like...

I would like to also add Escaflowne, it does have IMO the best fantasy mecha designs.

I could have sworn I just answered this question...
Gundam Wing, definately. It's nothing like the other gundam series', and worth your time. Plus, other than a few curse words and some bloody hands, it's rather clean un-cut. :thumb:
