*Joins in the tamato peltage. Then starts a bonfire, raises a pitchfork and leads an angry mob shouting out indiscernable phrases.*
Yes, Aus and NZ are like siblings. I love the ANZACs. Our two countries joined together and our citizens gave their lives side by side. It's very touching.
Yes, we do have quite different accents. Dance, chance, six, the infamous fish and chips... (we do NOT say fush and chups *pouts*)
As for getting uptight when the All Black lose the rugby... *sets up the tamatoes, bonfire and pitchfork mob again and sets them on Zane and Talame* .
. Seriously - I don't really have an interest in rugby. Often I don't even know the season's ended (or started in the first place, for that matter...) . Somehow, though - (true story) - I managed to be sent a Rugby series DVD. I've been trying to find friends to give it to - but no-one likes rugby! (still looking).
I think both NZ and Aus are beautiful - very different, but just as beautiful. Most of all, I love being able to spot dolphins when out on the boat. (doesn't happen often, but it does happen).
