Hi. I know that this will probably become a pretty in-depth discussion, but i just want to see what you, my brothers and sisters in Christ, could add to my faith.

For many years now, i have held a belief in my heart salvation is possible to be achieved by all... not just those that pronounce their faith in Christ with their lips or even consciously with their hearts. I just feel that the love of Christ extends to all peoples of the world. I don't want to say too much, but i was just curious to see if anyone else held similar beliefs and even for others to share (and disagree) with me on these views.

I have been in a room with about 100 of my Jewish relatives and gazing at them, i clearly see the love of Christ shining. I feel that whether some "unbelievers" believe it or not, they have Christ present in their lives. I apologize in advance if anyone finds this offensive, but please try to have an open mind so you guys can help me out.

Thank you so much.

I don't think being a Christian or even having Christ as your savior is only for a group of people because of maybe ehtnicty or qualifications. That would totally throw out what Jesus said to "go out and make disciples". I am no more different, as a Christian, than some mass murderer who, wiht his heart, becomes saved before he dies.

The invitation is open to all. . However, fromw hat I get you're saying, those people don't nesscarly need to be saved brcause Christ loves them. Correct me if that intepretation is wrong.

The only way through Heaven is through Christ. He may love them, and that's why he for them so that they can have eternal life because of that death.

Uh, long answer short (this thread may be locked), no, I don't believe in Universalism, salvation can only be achieved by consciously accepting Christ as your savior, there is countless evidence for this in the Bible, if you're interested PM me.

Okay, before this thread goes any further we need to clarify something. This is Christian Anime Alliance, note the word "Christian" in the title; which means, that I am very sure the administration here, as per their FAQ and statement of faith would agree, this is a Christian site. Other belief systems are allowed to fellowship with us in our enjoyment of anime, but basically it is "Christian."

And, Christianity is not unviversalism. Universalist thought cheapens the cross of Christ, cheapens the purpose of Christ and basically states that Christ wasn't even needed to get to Heaven. Shucks, anyone can get there and totally bypass the whole fact that Christ came, and lived, and died on a cross and then rose again.

Christ is the ONLY way to Heaven. He is the ONLY Savior. There are many religions in this world and many beliefs, but Christ is the only Savior who came to man and died for His sin. Jesus Christ is the only one who put up with the taunts and the ridicule and the painful death to pay for our sin. This is a payment we could never pay, no matter how good and wonderful we are, we will never be holy like God. Thus, we NEED Him in the equation.

If every person on this earth could just go to Heaven, that would be just wonderful, but then where does Christ fit in? Where does the Bible which speaks of Christ from the very beginning to the very end, in the fact that sinful man needs a Savior? Where do we get perfect and good enough to make it to Heaven on our own?

Universalim sounds all sweet and sugar plums, but the fact of the matter, is if you believe this then you don't need Heaven. Because Heaven is where God is, and if you don't want the free gift of His Son, Jesus Christ, then why would you want to be in Heaven?

I hope I'm not too harsh, but I'm a Christian, and this is Christianity on a Christian forum.

Christ and Him crucified and my belief in all which that contains.

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

Well said, Chloe. Anything I would say would be close enough to make that repetitive, so I'll leave it at that.

The choice has been made. There's no looking back. I won't let up, back up, give up, or shut up. My focus clear. My path is straight. My God, reliable. I'm a disciple of Christ.

Gods plan is like the sun. its too big and bright to look at directly, and sometimes the rain clouds cover it, but sometimes the plan dapples through the clouds and we can see beautiful glimpses of what he has in store for us.

As Chloe and others have stated quite bluntly, there is NO other way to salvation EXCEPT Christ Jesus. Period. End of discussion; the Bible is very clear on that and despite how "unfair" or "mean" it sounds, that's what God has ordained.
