Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

a college major. Once ya get into a 4 year university,y ou decide on what you will study on, and if you get a degree on what your major is, you can get a job like that! For example. You want to be an electrician. YOu have to go tomcollege and major in a field. ANd the field would be on electricity and machinery and etc. Onceq you get a degree in it (like a bachelors or masters) you can now be a certified elecrician, and have a career as an electrician

They're talkin' about what everybody is majoring in.

My current plan is to major in business and then open up my manga book store/tea shop in the downtown (a.k.a RICH) area of my home town.

I thought about that, but I honestly think the town could sustain a "manga-only" book store. If I opened a general book store, I think I'd get squished by Barnes and Nobles, Border, Books-A-Million, ect, but if I open a manga only store, I think I could take business away from the aforementioned places (They have a lousy selection, and if someone else offered a more complete selection-- I know I'd shop with them.) I'd have a corner, of sorts, on the market. ] Vocal Performance. I's gone be a opera star, I is.

my major is a bit complicated to explain. technically right now, i am a first year in the Environmental Design program (so, basically: pre-architecture). if all goes according to plan, and i get accepted to second year, i will be a full-fledged Environmental Design major, and will have three more years, after which, i will have my BA in Environmental Design. i then apply to the graduate program, which will last a year, and will come out with my MA in Architectural Design. so, i am basically an Architectural Design major, which means, i design the buildings... not make sure they are structurally possible - ^^ - that's what engineers i will be working with are for... but don't worry, i have to take structures classes.

after my five years of college, i would really like to join or have my own firm that concentrates mainly on restorative work, but also on designing new buildings.

Right now I'm a senior majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. I'm still debating on rather or not I'll go directly in grad school but I'm pretty sure I will either pursue my MBA or go to Law school.
