wrong, cause here in the southernmost tip of Texas, where it hasn't snowed since my mother was born, about 43 years ago, it is a big deal. And since no one else from the Valley as mentioned it, i will.

Native Texan here... Wow, it snowed in the Valley!

I remember it snowing once in Burnet when I was very young. But here in Central Texas (austin) we never get any. I mean this year not even ice. I remember about 4 yrs ago we got fluries but they melted once they hit the ground. I mean this winter has been interesting, Christmas day I was wearing a jacket and jeans, then the next day I was wearing shorts. Though, I can't complain... I got to enjoy the nice breeze while playing some basketball

How many inches did you get? I hope all the drivers were really careful. Snow in warm places is very neat, but not when people assume you can drive normally in it. I had quite an adventure with teaching someone from LA how to drive in snow and ice. Teaching someone *not* to slam on brakes when the car goes out of control is very hard. -_-

i loved the snow, i had snowball fights, and made snowangels, and i even made a small snowman, i hadn't seen snow since i was four years old, back when i lived in arkansas, but snow here in the valley,it was awesome, especially since i had just come out of the christmas vigil mass when it started snowing

actually, it snowed once when i was like a first grader, it was during school and the principal announced over the school p.a. system that it was snowing and told all the teachers to let their kids go outside, but it was just a little snow, not enough to play in.

It snowed earlier this year in the easterly portions of Riverside/San Bernardino County (Southern California). That was a surprise -- almost six inches, some places (I have it on Palm video, I was so startled).

Lol. Right now it's ... checking thermometer ... 60 F. In the jaws of another harsh Southern California winter, as usual.

When it snowed, though, I remember stepping out of my apartment dressed in my usual T-shirt and jeans, and saying, "Man, it's cold." I went back in -- the temperature was 36 F. Out where it had snowed, it was down in the high twenties. Yes, the Mainers will laugh, but that's pretty stinking cold for So. Cal.

Temperature in Austin was about 75 for the high. I would assume the valley has about the same temp about this time of year including CA.
