Okay, so I wrote this long rant earlier, hit the post button, and it decided to tell me that I wasn't signed on (which I was). So my nice small (not) rant was erased. So now I am going to do a short and condensed version.
1) I don't like people who talk on a cell phone with one had and drive with the other. Get a car with a built in cell phone (like my dad's volvo) or a headset. Free up the hands people!
2) Leaving cell phones on so they go off in the middle of class is bad. Not only do the people around you get annoyed, but the teachers do as well. Not a good thing.
3) If you are in the movies, turn the blasted thing off! or at least to silent. There are about 10 little ads that pop up on the screen asking you to be considerate of others and turn off the phones. Yeish, if it is that important, don't go to movies! rent them!
4) If you are talking with a friend and the cell phone rings, look who it is but don't answer it. If it is important they'll leave a message. If it is really important, chances is they will call you again right away. If that happens, excuse yourself and answer it, then at least tell your friend something about the conversation when you are done so they don't feel like a complete idiot only hearing one side of the conversation.
5) Ringtones can be fun. I personally like ringtones that are music from games or movies that I really like. Other than that, I really don't care for them.
There's my feelings. Oh, a little note. Don't drop your cell phone into herbal tea. My dad found that out today. His phone shorted, but luckily came on a couple hours later, after drying on the defroster for 30 minutes and charging for another hour and a half. Sadly, he lost his entire contact list. That stinks for me because I am going to be the one going through his client files finding all the numbers again.
Oh Joy.
