I'd say somewhere around 10 hours, for sure -_-; I spend way too much time online..

Depends on the way you mean online.
Code: Select all
switch (meaning)
{
        case "contiguous Internet connection":
                response ="Several months back at university, without reboot. (res hall lan)";
                break;
        case "uninterrupted active Internet use":
                response = "a couple of hours";
                break;
        case "intermittent Internet use":
                response = "two to three days";
                break;
        default:
                response = "dunno";
}
printf("the longest period I have been online is %s \n", response);

(sorry, I've been breathing a bit too much code lately.)
The cake used to be a lie like you, but then it took a portal to the deception core.

Around... 70 hours? I often program and browse the net and listen to music and watch anime all at once, and since I have insomnia I tend to forget time and oh lookie, there goes another day. So it's usually at least 18 hours a day. The longest time streak of 70 hours was achieved when my parents went to Korea and I just went nuts with caffeine overdose -_-;

4:45am right now. Figures, huh?

Man, you all are lucky, I have a time limit on all days that I have school, so the weekends are all I get pretty much, and since 7 people use the PC, I'm always gettin kicked off... >_<
I'll make 24 hours straight some day!

Um...I've been online before for almost a day and half straight...it was actually not very healthy since I forgot where I was and could stand up right. After a while the monitor's radiation plunges into your brain and strange stuff happens. @_@

Maybe three hours when I was working on a school project then just browsed. We get a big bill, so I usually try to keep my internet stuff down to a minimum. Usually, it's thirty minutes to an hour and a half.

I think I've stayed on for nine hours straight before. My brain proceeded to become VERY fuzzy, so I decided it would be best for my health to tear myself away ;)

I got up every once and awhile, but during the summer I was usually on all day from maybe 8:30AM to 1 or 2AM every night. My eyes started getting really sore and people told me I blinked a whole lot. :lol:

Now that I'm in school again I can't do that. I'm pretty much on from when I get home til when I go to bed. I have a laptop so that makes it easier....

There were some days when I'd be online prettymuch from morning to 3am or so. I'd spend that time mostly drawing using the computer and talking with friends. There were a couple of message boards that I was very involved in, too.
I enjoy staying up late and my mind feels more alert at that time of night than at any other time of a 24 hour cycle.
While the amount of time I was online was good for some things, and I learned a lot from it, I dont think that amount of time is good for me now. I have a parent-enforced two hour limit currently.

Oh goodness, I have no idea. When I'm sick and I feel aweful, I often just slump in front of my computer. So-- I've probably been on for a pretty long time before.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.
