Hmmm, you were very busy. So, how much do you charge for these extreme makeovers? I could use some help. ^__^;;
LOL, well, that depends. Does it involve painting? >.<
Heh, I can just imagine telling my parents I'm off to paint some woman they've never met's house in Dallas. They'll think I'm off my rocker.
But in all seriousness, if you really wanted to I could help brainstorm with you...(not sure if this was completely a joke or not)
Oh, very nice! I'm very glad you're not afraid of color. And I completely envy all your posters/wall space. They're awesome.
How long did it take you to do?
Thanks! The posters on the long wall were probably the hardest part, because I had to think in advance about "ok if I put this here, what will I put here and here and here?" But I'm SO happy with it. Mom LOVED it, she was so excited. As for how long it took:
8-9 hours straight painting. It took so long because my room is pretty large (it's one of those optional study suites) and I did it all by myself. My parents were shocked when they came in from work that I did it all in one day. O.o
After that, it took another 3.5 hours to arrange all of the posters. So...all in all that's like, 12 hours worth of work or so.
I have to say it was one of the most fulfilling moments of my life. From start to finish, I did everything by myself. I consulted my parents and asked their opinions on things, but I decided the layout, bought the paint with my own money, painted every inch myself (sometimes it was so tedious, I thought I would toss the bucket on the wall, and when anyone asked about it I'd answer in haiku I was an art student XD) , then arranged all of the decorations myself. It really made me feel like a bonafide adult.
