SPYWARE/INTRUSIVE WEBSITE! This website tries to install TWO separate pieces of spyware/dictatorware onto your computer... Make sure your security settings are high before you go into that site. Also, it contains a "hidden" popup that contains no actual information except for cookies it tries to use to track where you go...

Anyhow, this looks sweet... I'm excited about it. But, history has proven (more with "legend of the crystals" than with "Spirits within") that squaresoft has never been good with non-game ventures... I somehow wonder if this will be the same as "Crystals" of course the animation looks kick-butt so that's allready one step above crystals.

Looks though it has good potential, I just hope it isn't short.

Theres another link to those pictures (minus spyware) here:
Link

Whats interesting about this link is that directly underneath the dvd it has screenshots of Kingdom Hearts 2. (perhaps someone with jap knowledge can translate some of it....)
It is widely believed that the dvd itself will most likely be a remake of the actual FFVII game, showing the plot and what happened, just like a movie basically (with voice acting). Also Ive heard many people say that it may be released as a short dvd bonus comming with KH2.
The story of FFVII is so deep I always thought it could be made into a movie, Il be interested to see how Square handles it.

Here's another site, all indications point it being a sequel. (Also has some stuff on KH 2 and KH: Chains of Memories)

Not in Japanese like the site above, and no spyware!

Interesting. I'm not sure what to think of the movie but the two new Kingdom Hearts games look nice.

fu fu fu The thread was made in 09-25-2003 so yeah...it's still old news. This is called gravedigging.

I'm personally looking foward to the movie (though I am not a avid FF7 or any FF anything fan - i still like it).

holy crap what Final Fantasy fan HASN'T heard about Advent Children. About the Final Fantasy VII 2 game there is a sequel called Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus coming out but it is a MAJOR venture from other Final Fantasy games. It's a third-person shooter featuring Vincent Valentine.
