So much for 404 errors, now we get "temporarily down/offline" errors; like a few days ago if anyone remembers :P. Though that's probably the same thing. The good ol' re-directed message by Old Philosopher :).

Actually, development wasn't on the list, but I suppose that I could bring that user into the mess. As a matter of fact, I have a good way to do it.

Unfortunately, Inkhana, I do not have sprites for Ciel or Leviathan, so no one gets to be them. I could get sprite-ripping abilities (which I always prefer when making a sprite comic), but in this case that would be definitely illegal. If anyone has any I wouldn't mind using them...

Leave it to me! XD Calbhach collects them, so I have access to tons of them. Just PM me with all the characters you need, and I'll find them. Or I can get some website links, too, whichever you prefer.

People who write below their abilities in order to crank out tons of books and make a buck. Especially Christian authors who do that. Outsiders judge us for it, and make fun of us for it, and it makes Jesus look bad. We of all artists on earth should be the most concerned with doing our best possible work at all times. The things that I miss....

Excellent work, Ashley and uc pseudonym. My only criticism about Ashley's second installment is that I was a little bit out of character by not capitalizing the letter p in the line "preach it, brother." However, that is really small stuff.

I like this... a lot.

I will take you up on that, Inkhana. New sprites will force me to do some rewriting, but it should not effect the third comic, which will be up in about a week. Hopefully there should be no undue slowdown. This also means that formerly cameo-only mods will receive actual roles.

Thank you for the assorted compliments.

There seems to have been a slight problem with the database.

UC, the first time I'm commenting on your additions - ROFL, great job! I look forward to more stick figures from Ashley and UC's continuing Zero-Ashley comics. ^____^

[size=84][color=seagreen]YOU SEE

You see into the deepest part of me ---

beyond the fog I hide behind.

You cast your light upon the shadows

that stretch like cobwebs in my mind.

You ease the pain when I am hurting,

and morbid visions from my past

pierce into the realm of Reason

as though I danced on blades of glass.

You grant me strength when I have fallen

and, once again, I've lost my way.

You take my hand in Yours and lead me

into the promise of a brand new day.

You bring order to all my chaos,

yet set my well-laid plans awry.

You place me on a firm foundation ---

then give me wings so I can fly.

You sand away my roughened edges

and polish all the dullest parts

until I stand before Your presence...

a newly-sculpted work of art.

You see into the heart within me,

right through my motives and selfish will.

And yet, in spite of all You see

You say You love me even still.

I now present you with updates. Please, before clicking the link, read the remainder of my post. Initially, I apologize for the belated nature of this update. It was caused by several factors, including but not limited to:
A) I have more important things to do.
B) Inkhana was kind enough to get me links to new sprites, which absorbed some time.
C) I was not certain which sprite ShiroiHikari should use.
D) It is essentially finals week for me.

Point D, however, results in a second update along with the first, about which I must include a lengthy explanation. First, this was a product of my state of mind last night: I had just finished nearly two hours of hard core studying for a Calculus class that has caused me considerable difficulty, and immediately after spent some time nitpicking over pixels, which can become quite frustrating in MS Paint. Hence, I wanted to vent some frustration in a productive fashion, and an idea occurred to me.

If I completely cast quality to the winds, how fast could I make a webcomic? I decided to time from start to finish: I began timing the moment I opened Paint (with no idea whatsoever what I would do) and stopped when I was ready to save for the first and only time. The answer to my question? Four minutes, thirty three seconds. Keep that in mind when viewing the secondary comic.

You'll notice I provide only one link; it takes you to a simple index page that can be used to link to all the comics. This makes my task simpler, in that when I update I can merely show the same link, which will now include a new comic link.

With all that having been said, I hope you enjoy these.

NOTICE: I was briefly editing the site, so it was down for a moment (though it should be back up at this point). I apologize for any inconvenience.

Depend on it. God's work done in God's way will never lack God's supply. He is too wise a God to frustrate His purposes for lack of funds, and He can just as easily supply them ahead of time as afterwards, and He much prefers doing so.

I remember that one fateful day when Coach took me aside. I knew what was coming. "You don't have to tell me," I said. "I'm off the team, aren't I?" "Well," said Coach, "you never were really ON the team. You made that uniform you're wearing out of rags and towels, and your helmet is a toy space helmet. You show up at practice and then either steal the ball and make us chase you to get it back, or you try to tackle people at inappropriate times." It was all true what he was saying. And yet, I thought something is brewing inside the head of this Coach. He sees something in me, some kind of raw talent that he can mold. But that's when I felt the handcuffs go on.

Yes, the caffeine rage line was classic, but I've gotta say that the "Acid Trip: Academic Crunch." had me in stitchs. Maybe that has something to do with the fact that I'm taking finals as well. . . *ponder* Either way, it was great.
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Yep. ^_^ It looked very nice too, but the dialog was a little hard to follow I didn’t feel like it was going anywhere. But it did look very very nice.

Note: I’m not trying to be mean, it’s just hard to get into anything else once you have experienced the ‘Zilch Factor’.

Ah, I know you aren't. I will fairly readily admit that the dialogue for this comic wasn't really going anywhere quickly, but I wanted to use nine panels to get across only three concepts, four if you count randomness. As far as I recall, that doesn't happen again, though all the dialogue hasn't been written.

It is unfortunate that reading Zilch's work reduced your enjoyment of my own. I had hoped they wouldn't even be considered together, as they're really completely different genres.

Actually, I have to deny your statement: as webcomics go, mine actually doesn't look that great. Pretty sloppy work, really (though a certain amount of that is due to MS Paint).
