That was hilarious!! I hadn't realized there was a page 2 added until mr_anderson dragged me in to see that he had a cameo. Oh, goodness, I love uc's little speech. XD

I'd read whatever you create too, uc!

Well, I would have put something up today, but this disk decided to corrupt on me once again. Hopefully tomorrow I will have better luck with the first comic.

I'm going to feel guilty about this; it's just a nine-panel affair and not really intended to be humorous. Perhaps I should get my own thread (if you would prefer this, Ashley, speak up at any time).

ROFL nice one Ashley! I am also very aggravated by these annoying DB errors -_-
I know maybe if we start singing "We are the champions" our extremely high moral and spirit will destroy the 404 of doom. I'll begin :)

Alright, then. Here is the first comic, which I'm not terribly proud of. This is in no way intended to be funny (and if you find it so, something is wrong), and things will get better later on. But anyway, have at it:

http://www.geocities.com/uncreativepseudonym/comic01.JPG

This has a limited plot (I have the ending in mind), and due to lack of coherent sprites few people will be featured. I can gaurantee that all the moderators will at least get a cameo.

If the link doesn't work, it is because this burned out my geocities account. Wait a while and try again.

OK, I'm cracking up here that you picked a Zero sprite for Ashley...XD XD So it was funny after all...(oh man, I am SO gonna get clobbered, but it actually threw me to hear a Zero sprite addressed as "her") so yeah, something's wrong with me.

...Now I'm scared of who my sprite's gonna be...O.o;; LOL Looking forward to the next!

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Oh, gee, this is gonna be fun. *awaits new installments.*
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

For everyone's information: Ashley is Zero because she is the protagonist of the spritecomic and (working entirely from Rockman Zero) Zero is the only character with enough sprites to support a leading role. Plus, he's got a lot of hair, so it doesn't seem that off.

Glad you found that funny, Inkhana... I guess. Your sprite... heh; I really had to reach for that one, but I hope you don't mind it.

Everyone else has to be minor npcs or bosses. On that subject, those of you who have played Rockman Zero, who would you guess would be who?

I put the second comic together yesterday. Bleh, I'm going to hate the next set of comics because there is so much talking. Anything involving dialogue takes me at least five times as long to do... layers would be quite helpful.

Thank you for informing me, termyt, and for your kind remarks. The next installment should be up in around a week, depending on how much free time I have.

Regarding Straylight: Actually, he is back, just not with an overabundance of free time. He's already banned a few trolls.

I'm afraid you won't actually find out what happens next. The plot stalls for a while as we catch up to where it began. After that, however, we should have a lot of action followed by true development of the plot.

MS Paint is one of the worst programs you could use to make nearly anything. Also, it's all I have.
