That's right. I sent in a job application about a week ago and got my job. At long last, my own source of income... I'll be washing dishes 3.5-4 hours every Saturday for $6.50 per hour. In fact, I leave for my first shift in about half an hour. ^^
So, who are the other young people with jobs out there?

I work in the library at my college for about 4 or 5 hours a week. In the summers, I work at a nice little diner just about 5 minutes from my house. ^^

My first job I worked at a grocery store for about 2.5 yrs. I started as a baggier then became a cashier, after that moved to the grocery department stalking the shelves.

Now I work at bestbuy. Bad mistake. I started as a cashier and since I couldn't sell any magazines and because I didn't want to "mislead" (lie) to the customer they moved me to inventory. Now I unload the trucks and stalk the shelves. Overall not a bad job, but they really mess around w/ people on their hours. One week I'll get a lot then the week after I'll get 4-8hrs... So goes life, all you can do is always look up and continue to move forward.

Currently I am seeking to become a waiter. Though It may be best to wait until after the holiday season.
