The staff and I have reached a hard decision, but after much deliberation we are going to cut the shoutbox sometime this weekend. There are several reasons for this. One, it's not helping our bandwidth situation at all. Secondly, we have noticed a good deal of the activity that goes on there could be accomplished in either an instant messenging program or a chat room.
I realize this will be a blow to many of you but I do hope you will bear with us as we continue to lead this ministry and provide the best environment we can.
EDIT: ShiroiHikari's chat has been put on hiatus. When we find a new applet for CAA's uses, we will inform you, however I've been told there are rumors going around that another chat is being run by CAA members so you might want to check that out too.

All it requires is mIRC (http://www.mirc.com), which isn't free but the only limitation on it is a nagscreen at start up, which is VERY worth it. Also, if you get a bit more advanced, you can set stuff up like trivia bots, which are a blast to play with people.
