Unless you have somthing serious to add Kilalagurl...please stop the one word posts. As for me, I am working at a Christian Haunted house of sorts called Air Omega. It presents a message of salvation. I have been doing it since this past Monday. We hope people come thinking its just a spooky haunted house....So far, praise the Lord, over 40 people have given there hearts to the Lord. We are expecting great things Halloween night.

I think I'll probably just stay at home, as usual.

I don't really have any interest in holloween "festivities"....

We have GAME night...

King Of Fighters, Tekken, MarioParty bla bla bla

Halloween would be cool without the lanterns(pumpkins), and people dressing up like Satan... *rolls eyes*, how could ever think you were doing something good while being dressed up, glorifing the devil and his minions
I'm leaving CAA perminantly. i've wanted to do this for a long time but I've never gathered the courage to let go.

This one won't do anything. And of all the days to celebrate All Hallows Eve, a heathen holy day, on the Sabath!

I am doing exactly as I expected (the latter scenario I offered).

In general I think similarly to you. Keep in mind, however, that basically all Christian holidays have been placed on top of pagan holidays as well. A vaguely effective way of neutralizing them, in some cases. Why not do the same for other negative dates?

I'm dressed up as a Renaissance peasant. I figured I'd get as much use as possible out of my Ren Faire costume. :)

Tonight OldPhil and I are going to our friends' house to help hand out candy and take their 2-yr-old trick-or-treating for the first time.

Our church did something interesting this morning, as a Halloween alternative. Since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year, they felt they couldn't just ignore what all the kids know about anyway. So they decided to make it a "teachable moment" instead. They encouraged the kids to dress up as Bible characters or animals on Noah's ark. The idea was to dress up as someone who is on God's side, instead of a devil or scary ghost or whatever. Then after church, they had a parade on the front lawn, and some of the adults handed out candy.

Actaully Sunday is the Lords day. Not the sabbath which is Saturday. And this is starting to stray....which we warned against. But, since Halloween is over....I am gonna go ahead and lock this since really....there is nothing else to say till next year.
