Postby Solid Ronin » Mon Oct 18, 2004 11:38 am

Great news for anyone who has digital cable or Satellite! The anime network is now a 24 hour channel.

Cool thing is The core of the anime network is in Houston, Texas..Is it just me or does it seem that Houston is becoming the anime home of America.

And people wonder why love it so much..those fools

Woops! I forgot to say that you will have to request it. You can do it here at http://www.animenetwork.com Or! if you have On demand just go to the cutting edge section and you cann find some great titles there as well.

Actually, I don't watch it in the "Cutting Edge" section much. I find that the vast majority of the anime from Anime Network either doesn't interest me or it is too offensive for me to watch.
Yeah, I'm that opinionated.

So otaku, but not...

FuNimation is HQed in Fort Worth which is in the Dallas area and not Houston.
So it should be that the heart of Anime in America is in Texas.
I wish we got ANime Network here.

While I like the idea of The Anime Network, I have to say that I'm pretty disapointed with the channel's actual selection. There's just not very much there that I'd actually pay to watch.

Methinks more places would rather give Cartoon Network rights to air their stuff than TAN, because more people get CN. If more cable companies pick up TAN, then it will start looking more attractive/profitable to companies to allow them to air stuff.
